Thank you for this. Was able to flash back to the stock bootloader from the ICS one click.
How'd you get it to boot? I downloaded and ran the rootziki leak and then tried to get back to this bootloader, but then the phone wouldnt boot after the samsung screen. It just stayed black.

Update

This post will also help you as well. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20229527&postcount=46

I first flashed back to a Gingerbread ROM that contained GB bootloaders. I used the I777UCKH7 oneclick.

***Warning***

Flashing a ROM that contains bootloaders could possibly brick your device. I take no responsibility if anything happens to your device.

I had a feeling this thread would come back to the top after the AT&T ICS leak.

All I can say is that if you don't know what you're doing, I'd stay far away from this. Even if you are an experienced flasher, this can be dangerous if something goes wrong.

I have rooted my I777 from GB 2.3.4 and actually use AOKP ICS. I have the intention to test CM9 but its request the phone have to be Stock Bootloader to running.

There should be no need to flash this. Unless you flashed something that would have flashed a modified bootloader, either one of the AT&T leaks, or a firmware from another phone such as the GT-i9100, you should still have the stock secondary bootloader. If you ever had GB 2.3.5 on your phone, or one of the others I mentioned, you might need to flash this. There was never a 2.3.5 for the I777.

Thanks for your help. I never passed from 2.3.4 to up. I rooted and flash directly to ICS. I guess once had to rescue my phone from a bricked sutuation, I tested different options and I dont know why, I make a mistake and chance the stock bootloader maybe for one GT-9100 which I used when I rooted. ( I remember the boot with this Id. which came w/ a yellow triangle in the screen).

Let me try via Download Mode to reinstall a Stock Bootloader and I comment. Thanks again.

funny story I flashed this via recovery, and now I have a nice brick no life only gets hot when the battery is inserted.
Well, this is what Entropy wrote on the first page:

"DO NOT flash this bootloader unless you have flashed a 2.3.5 leak or I9100 ROM that included bootloaders..."

Hopefully you saw that before you flashed it. Can you confirm your inability to get into recovery? And have you tried flashing back to stock via Odin?

Yeah I read it, and that was why I flashed it because I flashed a I9100 which had bootloaders, I was able to reboot to flash the I777 secondary bootloader, but when I did a reboot it wont start anymore no sign of anything going on and I cant get into download mode or recovery mode

I'm curious how you flashed a tar file through recovery?

This is meant to be flashed in download mode using Odin with the tar in the pda slot.

If you are unable to get into download mode by any method, then your only option is jtag repair. But first I would try all the methods to get download mode, especially the jig.

There are several ways to put the phone into download mode. You should try all of them that you can before you give up.

Recovery mode:

With the phone off (and not connected to the computer), and battery installed, hold all three buttons, vol- vol+ pwr continuously until the initial boot screen appears the second time.

Download mode:

1. With the phone off and connected to the computer via USB cable, and battery installed, hold all three buttons, vol- vol+ pwr.

2. With the phone off and battery installed, hold vol- and vol+ (but not pwr) while plugging in the USB cable.

3. With the phone off and battery installed, hold vol- (but not vol+ or pwr) while plugging in the USB cable.

4. Attempt each of the above three options with the battery removed from the phone. The computer will supply the power to the phone.

5. Use Android Debug Bridge (adb) which will only work if USB debugging has been already turned on in Developer Options, since you can't boot into the system to turn it on. With the battery installed and the phone connected to the pc via USB cable, use the command "adb reboot download".

6. Use a USB jig. With the battery installed insert the USB jig into the USB connector of the phone. Some have reported that this method works when no other method would work.
