For everyone's information.
The iphoneimei.net (now redirecting to https://doctorunlock.net/) took $25 for basically placing me on a "wait list" until they can unlock the iPhone 6. Nothing happend.
I kept using my iPhone on the plan and after 3 months I was able to request the official unlock from my carrier and the unlock was performed OTA. Then I have traded in the phone with an Apple upgrade (they accept only unlocked devices).

After about 6 more months, I get an email from the above website that my iPhone is "ready for unlock" and I need to pay 74.99 UK pounds to perform the unlock. If I don't pay, the "unlock will be removed". Basically ransomware.
Since I don't own that phone anymore, I don't know what happend after that.

Watch out i went on the website and it said for only $28 you can unlock your iphone so i did that. I paid eith Visa and paid the $28 now that payment went through its telling me to add another $33 to finish to process. I emailed the company for refund and the support was very rude and said no refunds. It's a trick they tell you a low price so you start paying and after payment goes through it tells you we need more money. What a joke and worse service. DO NOT TRUST !
