I got my Mi A1 from Flipkart last month.I am facing a problem . I got a whatsapp message when i was using the phone then the screen blacked out and it turned into black white (on-off on- off alternatively and automatically and it wont stop) , black white alternatively. It will aslo wont unlock.. Even if i tried restarting , the same happened again after the phone boots ..it just unlocks for a few seconds as soon as it boots...and again goes into that black white (on-off) mode..
it had already happened once before...within that few seconds i uninstalled whatsapp and it worked again normally...It has happened for a 2nd time...first one was before September update and now again...
plz help..whats d problem..I think it is happening with whatsapp notification and uninstalling whatsapp has worked both the time..

Have you tried to reset the device? If you can rollback the OS you could wait for a new update that fixes the issue.

There's a bug. Turn off ambient display under display. If it happens again then hold the power button to reboot your device.
