So it's not been more than a month and I shattered my Zenfone's touch panel although digitizer is fine along with all the sensors and everything . So, I went to the Asus service center and asked for the cost for the repairing of the damage done on my phone by myself. And, it turns out it's close to ₹6000 close to $100. Honestly speaking I don't have this much of money to shell out for the repair of my phone and I found a shop which is going to charge half the rate for repair and give 6 months of warranty in case of any defects in the screen. So do you think it is worth it to replace my Zenfone's screen and void the warranty. The screen got shattered from extreme left corner with long cracks running deep till the touch buttons but everything is working fine. Some told me that it is better to wait and use it delicately than voiding it's warranty now by getting the screen replaced from unauthorized dealers but if my warranty is void anyways without even replacing my screen since it's a user induced damage. So what should I do ?

You can't be sure of the quality of the screen used by the other shop. So it's a bit of a risk. But as you've seen yourself Gorilla glass 4 is not unbreakable, so that risk is not really a deal-breaker. Also they're giving 6 months warranty so in my opinion it's a risk worth taking. You can use a part of the money you save to buy a mobile insurance, so that next time this happens you're covered. Do check with the insurance company first if they cover mobiles not covered by warranty (since you'll probably get screen replaced from outside).
