Screen off gesture to open app shortcut instead of full app

I want to have screen off gesture that opens what I would call an app shortcut. I mean something like a saved address on chrome. It is not an individual app, so it does not appear in the app list. When I long press and select App Info, it just gives me the info for the whole app.
