Screen on by touch app?

Is there an app that will make my note 2 wake up by tapping the actual screen?

Just wondering if you guys know of any.... I tried looking didn't find one that actually uses screen.

Im not sure about all of the kernels, but I know saber kernel works. Install it. Download the trickster mod app from the play store. If I remember right....the setting is in the last section. Called touch wake or something similar to that. Just activate it and save.

It used to be there. I just downloaded and looked too. The whole app is completely different. It must have had a huge update. Sorry to give you bad information.

Dont know if your using a rom or not....beans has wake lag toggle in the features list. That is what your looking for.

Dont know if your using a rom or not....beans has wake lag toggle in the features list. That is what your looking for. Now that I think about it. This was a huge feature in Meanbean rom too.

No the wake lag is nothing to do with actually unlocking phone by tapping screen.

If you flash saber kernel and search through trickster mod you should find the touchwake settings

I dont know if you found anything yet but I installed jedi 20 and trickster mod has the touch wake option in it. I uploaded it to dropbox for you. https://db.tt/Ec48MqDq

Turn it on. Set the delay to zero and save. I just tried it and it works perfect. Opens to the lock screen.

I'm running Perseus kernel. What kernel you running? I think its kernel dependent.

Thats it. Perseus uses stweaks. Saber is definitely compatible. Faux might be but im not 100% positive.
