Didn't think it was possible.

But I've best the top score, albeit on a different device.

Strange thing is, I think it's got better over time? Might that be the AI?? No idea and who cares.

Check out the screen shots, incredible, funny thing is I played the psp emulator for a few hours on this too.

Stock ROM. Rooted

P20 Pro

Fully stock, nothing else. Was last year.
I'm about to compare with xXx+francokernel
I've updated the OP but in all honesty you should show all of the screen shots shown in my post, or it would usually be left in the unverified section.

I'll leave it but if you manage it again then please post the three screen shots needed.

thanks

How do you guys get such insane screen on times? With normal use I max at 6 or 7 hours. I think that's because of all the social media apps syncing in the background. I remember having 13 hours watching Netflix over mobile data back a year ago.
Probably the installed apps does the most because of the background activity and standby time. What do you guys use?
Edit: VPN also uses some percentage

OB31 + EX5.0.3 = 7+h sot with typical usage scenario:

home/work with traveling a lot(roaming) and mixed wifi/mobile data connection and several % left.

Without ex kernel I'll reach 6.5-7h.

OB33 with xXx 7.1 and ElementalX Kernel 5.04. Using substratum Swift Black theme.
Mobile data only, no WiFi. Greenified seldom-used apps. Over 7.5 hours SOT with almost 15% left. If I did any heavy gaming (Dolphin Emulator MMJ for example), I'd get much less SOT. Overall, not bad.

I normally max out around 6-7 hours also (without any special tricks besides dark modes), but if I was to spend a weekend reading a book on my phone (with black background) I could squeeze hours more out of it. That's not typical use however.

It is way better than the pixel XL or Samsung Galaxy s8 I tried recently though.

That's not what this is tbh mate..look at the apps that were in use which is why it's a pre requisite of the thread.

What phones are we comparing in this thread? ?

Here are a couple of max SOT holiday screenshots/15-16 hours of SOT from my latest gadget i.e. OnePlus 7 running Oxygen OS 9.5.8.GM57BA with stock kernel, no mods...

Though, generally I get less or namely about 10-11 hours of SOT. ?

I can't imagine getting 14h screen on time with this phone unless I purposely spent all weekend doing nothing but reading a book in black mode on low brightness... I know my phone is stock but I can't see going from 6-7 hours best normal usage screen on time to double that.

This is still the best phone I've had for battery life, never any unusual drains, it's very predictable and I can always trust it, and it's just the best all around phone I've ever had. I'm surprised how few people are still on this forum using it.
