im not impressed with the SOT coming from oneplus one, used to get 6 hrs easily .. now 5 on a good day
SOT was better on the first few stock ROMs. It was easy to get 6 hours. Now it seems to have fallen off a bit. Standby time is still pretty good. I can't imagine actually using my device for 6 hours SOT without ending up near one of my chargers though. I also have a Justin 5200 mah portable rapid charger that only cost $29 at Kohl's.

GTA
The latest security patch for may really hurt my SOT. I was getting 5+ and now I barely make 4 hours. I am doing the same things and I even turned down my brightness even more.

By opening up a dark picture in the gallery app and leaving the screen on all day. Otherwise with actual use you're not getting over 6 hours

Unless your battery is physically superior to every other nexus those numbers are not possible.

I'm Not very impressed with the battery life after the first charge . Just got 4h sot At 20% left. With my Xperia z3 I got always more than 6 hours screen on time.

Using chroma rom, elemental x (ghostpepper setting), most of the time Surfing and chatting in WLAN and LTE .

I'm also wondering about the high battery drain of the Kernel and the Android System. Gsam battery monitor is showing me over 10% battery drain for both. With the z3 I never got over 3-5%.
Is this usual with the 6p?

And you are basing this on what? Your personal expirience? Please stop... go to batteryvlife thread and look at screenshots, there are many guys with such a sot, all depends on usage. Here are some screenshots for you

And i got this with 45minutes of gaming, sure, "not possible". Just because you cant/dont know how to get these results, doesnt mean its impossible.

Almost 2 days on battery without charging and nearly 4hrs of SOT with light use of facebook, instragram, checking email and listening to siriusxm app (~90% time on WiFi). Screen brightness set to 20%, using Elite-Angler kernel (3.10.73) and Heimdall_6P_v4 profile.

Possible, probable, realistic. I get 8 hours easily. If i only read ebook on wifi then 10 hours.

I'm talking about people who use a smartphone as a smartphone. Not the ones who sent a text here and there and only read emails. Actual use with gaming YouTube browsing downloading ect you will get nowhere near 8 hours.
