Sorry i did not know this was a contest. When i use the phone only for one day and reduce the brightness i'm sure SOT would have been 7-8 hours, but this is not the way i use my phone.

Highest SOT I've had on any device using Echoe rom v8 with just over 24hrs standby 50% brightness, Locations off, sync off, nfc etc all turned off very impressive for only 3600mah and a 2k screen

some good sot posted, I just traded my note 5 and very happy with the battery on the s7 edge - currently at 5 hours sot - total uptime 14.5 hours with 25 % battery remaining Bluetooth on connected to my gear s - currently stock unrooted. my note 5 rooted custom rom, undervolted and underclocked could not do anywhere near this sot. The main thing for me is to get through a day on a charge - I couldn't with the note 5 but can with no problem on the s7 edge

I don't reach 6h sot anymore. In the past I reached even 8h sot, now it is only a dream.

You are right.
I don't know whats happen first charges all good.
Then its started to get worse.
I downgrade, factory rese, but can't reach the time of the first charges.
Now i upgrade again., but don't have time yet to do a factory reset, it seems to improve a little bit but not good as the first ones.
This only in 4G.
And anyone notice battery get heating a little bit.?

Its just my third battery cycle since i unboxed the device, no brightness was minimised (Always on auto- and i spent decent time out in broad daylight) No special use, just regular out of the box use.

I have always the twice of the sot.
Its impossible i try at night minimum brightness and black theme and never to that.
Strange.
I have always 50% brightness during the day.

Well, its hard to say. Maybe you're gaming ? Maybe you have the NFC always on.. many other factors.. hard to say. I have the Exynos variant btw.

No gaming.
Everything of and disable.
Only 4G on.
Facebook messenger xda browser. And calls youtube.
I have to search here why.

4G takes a LOT of battery with all devices. Those who are with very high SOT are with Wi-Fi.
Else, switch to 3G

No don't see how that's bad. Seems pretty good when most reviews say they get around 6 hours on screen time

My battery lasts me all day and when I go bed at 23.00 it still has enough juice

To me that's All I need from a phone. I get a good 6 hours on screen time when on wifi which to me is very good

I get consistent twitter notifications all day and I have like 10 widgets as well

People who get loads of on screen time likely don't have many widgets or notifications to the amount I have

Wifi doesn't matter to me.
Only 4G.
And i have messenger tumbler Facebook, email without sync on, but always pumping emails and notifications.
I have a app i receive emails without sync on. 4 emails.
Now it's starting to make heat today i go up to 39 degrees which battery drain faster and the minimum i get is 3.5h 50%.
I get home and never drain the all the battery yesterday go to bed 10% with 8h.
Wifi drain the same as 4G.
