I'm quite satisfied with the sot, I'm getting an average of 5,5 to 6h. Although it varies quite a lot for me, due to quite a high stand by drain, but it might be because I have my MiBand2 connected via Bluetooth all day.
I attached screenshots of my best sot until now of 9h on WiFi

How do you have 0% for phone radio? That's what is eating up my battery apparently. Please let me know! Thanks!

GSam battery monitor.

There is a free version and a paid version, not sure which one this is but it'll get you close: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm

The phone radio only shows up as usage when I use my phone to place or receive a call.

Guess I need to edit this reply... I'm currently on a lot of pain meds from surgery I had Wednesday evening :silly:

My phone radio is usually on as long as my phone is on, I was thinking of the actual "Phone". Currently, I'm at 12:07:46 being 37% of my usage... My battery is at 78% with 1:22:44 scree on time.

So, my phone has been on for just over 12 hours, with the screen being on 1 hour and 22 minutes of that time. My phone radio is exactly how long my phone has been on.

Sorry for the confusion, because I sure was!

I just got the Axon 7 and am debating whether or not to keep it. According to GSam I'm getting 4h 38m which is an hour and change more than my Nexus 6p. So far that's the best battery life I've gotten at work.

THIS is why i want to leave my note 5

Yeah man.. I've had the s3, note 2, 3, 4 and 5. Free ONLY areas Samsung s6/n5 beats out Axon 7 is the wireless charging, s pen, and camera.

Battery life, performance, heat, charging, (The fact I don't need a custom xposed framework), speakers, dac, everything else about the axon 7 is superior.

I thought I would never leave Samsung, but this phone really changed my mind. Battery is just too good. But like I said, I've only had a few Samsung devices, some iPhones (before I saw the light and got saved), and this phone.

Hope I don't sound like an axon fanboy. Trying to give my honest opinions and reflections on the phone.

I also have pretty good screen on time, but only when I use my phone a lot in a given day. When I go without charge for example 24 hours, I lose approximately 50% of battery with 1h15m~ screen on time and I have no idea is that good or bad.

Geez. I would love to know how you guys are getting 5+ SOT with this thing... Maybe the smart power settings? This is the first time that I've gotten above 4 hours, and my battery is at 9%. This phone does get hot, so could that be the problem?

I bet you have a program running in the background. If it's hot, something's cooking.
Have you checked with GSAM? Or even with the battery tool in the phone?

Yes, I have checked GSAM. I was trying to link it, but it didn't upload correctly. I'm not convinced with these numbers because I was under the impression that an app was draining the battery too. My GSAM results claim that phone radio and SOT are to blame.

Oh. Sorry. I always have it on adaptive brightness with it usually setting to the darker brightness because I'm often using it more at night. I don't use the Facebook app, but I use Messenger, AdBlock browser, Twitter, Play Music, and YouTube. This battery life isn't awful per se, but the battery life that you guys are claiming in insane.
