I'm thinking about contacting Amazon about my battery life, but I'm not 100% sure it would be warranted. I think I should be getting a lot more battery life from this phone. Check the screenshots of gsam for my battery life summary.

I checked if there are apps that use a lot of CPU, but I can't find anything that really stands out. In fact I don't really see anything strange that would warrant a 6% an hour battery drop.

Please tell me what you guys think. Should I contact Amazon?

How are you measuring SOT? I can't find it in the stock battery stats.

You don't need another app, the original battery stat screen that shows screen on time is hidden. Create an activity with a widget and point it to the battery stat page and you'll get it. A trick that was used a long time ago when manufacturers used to completely butcher the UI.

Did you ever reboot throughout the day?

Yeah.. That's horrible battery life! Have you tried a factory reset? I would totally recommend contracting them if you have..

Yeah. Set a activity for it (action launcher for me). Looks just like stock android

Download something that's lets you set system activity widgets (I use action launcher) set the activities widget, go to settings ---> battery

Very disappointed with the battery life, got it just because of that.

BetterBatteryStats wouldn't work for me. Just stuck on "Computing..." After install. Ended up using this really small app as a shortcut to the native battery usage page we are all used to, where you can view SOT as measured by the system. No idea why MiFavor hides this.

Can you guys measure the Ampere drain with GPS, Wifi on and screen on 50%, just to check if my battery is with some issue?
I am not getting as much as SOT that I expected.
With 50% brightness, wifi and GPS on I am getting a average of -200mA at Ampere.

min -140mA, max -420mA. and around -200 also. I'm also not getting SOT that I expected, and celular strength is bad. A2017G B08

I am on nougat, and I seem to just use my phone 1.5 hours and then at the end of the day its dead as heck lol. It drains fast. I'm worried about rooting on this device, but I want to see if Los is any better

I think my battery is broken. And I have no intention of fixing it.

Was on Wi-Fi all day, tons of internet browsing, mobile data for maybe thirty minutes while out shopping.

Screen on time is crazy with ResurectionRemix and AX7Kernel set on interactive governor and ZEN i/o ! I just pushed 9h of non-stop video playing at maximum brightness (HW+ H265 on MXPlayer) !
