I think I have found what was eating my battery. I didn't notice before, but Note 7 came with location services set to High Accuracy as default. Changing that to power saving may have dramatic result on battery usage. Look at the screen and the angle in the last couple of hours. Almost looks like a flat line.

My phone:
- Snapdragon N930W8
- Latest firmware
- Debloated using Packagr Disabler Pro
- Disabled lots of things in Settings
- MID Mode set: WQHD, brightness to 80%, limit performance and stops background usage.

Heres what I've gotten so far:
( Layout SOT / USAGE TOTAL )
- 4 hrs / 18 hrs (initial unboxing and set up)
- 6 hrs 26 mins / 15 hrs (battery saver on)
- 6 hrs 59 mins / 10 hrs (battery saver on)
- 5 hrs 20 mins / 21 hrs (battery saver off)
- Current cycle @ 70% so far: 3 hrs 12 mins / 15hrs (battery saver on)

Every day I pretty much do the same thing (besides the initial set up day):
- Browse internet (chrome)
- Pokemon Go (2-4hrs)
- Share Hotspot (usually about 2hrs for my GF to play Pokemon whilr we are out)
- Random YT videos when I get home
- 9GAG, FB, Twitter, Email all through Chrome only (apps are battery hogs)
- Some music at night before bed
- Usually I will DL a movie and watch it before bed as well
- Brightness varies from 100-0%. Morning is 0-20%, Pokemon time is 100-80ish, and then home time is 20-0%

Looks like light browsing with brightness set all the way down drains 10% per hour, just like most of the other phones i've had.

How does one change or even find this setting? I just got through looking and couldn't find it. Any help?

Hi guys,

I don't know if this SOT its normal. I have almost everything disabled with package disabler pro(bluetooth, bluetooth le, wifi scan, sync, location services, all bloatware, vr services, fb, etc). The only app that I have installed it's instagram and all push notifications were turned off.

So, what do you think?
Should I wait, do something or exchange it (I bought it on this past saturday)

Thanks

That's a high WhatsApp usage. Also looks like you spend a lot of time on the phone. Looking at that, your usage doesn't look that bad. I would check location settings. And I don't think disabling packages is a good idea. There is no evidence that it helps much. It might even have negative effect.

Yes but i refer to the on screen time. The battery level goes down really fast once i turn on the screen. Like 12% in less than 20 minutes just looking at the gallery pictures.

Current level 34% I didn't play any games, just 57 minutes browsing, 15 on instagram... I really dont know what to think
