Here is my conclusion for Google Pixel XL and latest updates (Android 10).

After upgrade from Android 9 > Android 10 I noticed that my battery doesn't last long, before SOT was around 3-3,5 hours, now is 2-2,5 hours.

According to AccuBattery, my battery health is around 63-65% (2/3 capacity of original capacity).

Anyway, if I leaved my phone overnight in 6-8 hours it has discharged for amazing 30..35%, that was insane. So, if you don't use your phone it will be discharged from 100% to 0% in only 24 hours.

I disabled everything possible and all I think it isn't important; background restrict and background data restrict for some battery hungry apps. Results are now slightly better. Around 20-25% discharge overnight. In my opinion this is still not normal. Old iPhone 6s (from 2015) overnight discharge only for 1-3%.

Here are my GSamBatteryStats. I reset all settings in this app when was mobile put in Screen Off. No matter if my phone is on 100% when I go to sleep or at 50%, it will discharge for about 20-25%.

On current screenshots phone was at 55%, over night to the morning it was only on 28% (that was -27% in 7hrs, cca 4% per hour, 4%*24h >>> 96%, I loose whole battery if I don't use my phone at all).
Try to disable doze from each and every app on the device. System and 3rd party under "Battery Optimization". Much to my amazement, Android Doze does nothing for my device even after disabling it system-wide. I gained 4-6% extra battery life in Screen Off mode. I also use Lean Droid and Permission Ruler to circumvent any battery drain.

I solved, the only way that it works is to reset device to factory defaults and then after entering gmail account you must say that you don't want to restore any application. And now it's fine.

I install all of the apps that I previously had, each app per day, and I still didn't find any application that cause this problem.

SOT was back to ~3hrs with 3yrs old original battery and health of 62% (full health 100% is 3450mAh).

Now I changed original old battery with new Xiaomi BM4A (4000mAh) now I get around 5-7hrs of SOT. XIaomi BM4A fits perfectly into Google Pixel XL, all you need to do is to solder old BMS (battery management system) from original battery to new Xiaomi.

Sorry I don't, when I finished the job then I thought I just had to/could document this with the photos.
Anyway if you want to do it, only problem was to solder BMS (battery management system) to new Xiaomi battery. To solder I used (my friend service) 500°C for a bit.

I ordered this battery:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33018717143.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.6f0c4c4dSXXPo5

This info I found on some FB group Google Pixel Indonesia forum and try it for myself. I do have those pictures, so I will put them here.

Anyway, I'm very satisfied with my current Google Pixel XL 128GB and this new battery status.

Pixel XL (128GB) running stock Android 10 ("latest") - comparison between old, 3+ years old worn battery (AcuuBattery stats used here) health at 60% or 2,085 mAh with SOT of 4:34 hrs, not great.

Recently had a new OEM battery installed by a trusted shop (didn't want to risk ruining the digitizer, etc.) - health is now 98%+ at 3,383 mAh and SOT consistently over 7 to 7.5 hours (7:13 last checked) Most definitely, able to last a full, long day outside to not worry about battery running low. Will probably root it at some point and install Lineage, that being my favorite custom Rom (running it on a backup Nexus 6P with a newly replaced OEM battery (with 6+ hours SOT) on Lineage.
