So I have another question about battery drain. The thing is, Google services drain my battery a lot while i'm on 4G/LTE. If i have 4G/LTE off, and Wi-Fi on with the same usage i can get almost double the SoT and standy time. Please see screenshots below and tell me what can i change to normalize this thing.... Thanks!

edit: As I can't post screens yet, here is t he detailed battery usage on 4G/LTE: Phone ON for 1day16h, Google services at the top at 8%, FB, Instagram, OS Android down under, can't see Screen anywhere. And detailed Google services says: CPU total: 10min51s, CPU foreground: 4s, Keep awake: 35min13s, Mobile packets recieved: 3792, Sent: 4121, Mobile radio active: 45min37s, Computed power use: 318mAh

What's up guys, this is my usage with my 3T that I got about 4 days ago, and I am astounded by the battery life of this phone. With my old S3, I was lucky to get 2hrs and 30mins out of that battery, even with greenify.

This was a relatively moderate day with a decent amount of snapchat and a lot of xda browsing and chrome use, and even some flashing. There was around an hour of spotify playing, and occasional checks of Instagram and Relay, all mostly on LTE with minimal wifi use. I use a black theme wherever I can in OOS and in apps like Relay for Reddit.

I am using OOS 4.0.3 w/ Magisk 11.1 and stock kernel, with no battery saving apps at all (no greenify, naptime) ?

Usually get about 4-4.5 got 5 today but mostly with WiFi. Can anybody tell me why cell standby is so high? I have auto sync off
most common issue is the cell phone signal strengh .
At my girlfriend's house the battery stands a lot more. The only difference between the two places is the signal strengh (which is significant better at her house)

I had been trying to get my battery life (SOT) to at least 4 hours but unable to do so. However, after 2 weeks of monitoring and analysis I'm at 5 hours SOT with 30% battery remanining. I have tried all the ROMS here on xda both CM based and Oxygen based and the results were always the same 2.5 hours max SOT. I'm currently running RR ROM with bluspark kernel fastlane active.

Finally here is what helped:

- Installed WakeLock Detector and Better Battery Stats.
- Monitor the logs on both for a couple of days, you will definitely see what is sucking the battery out of your phone. After a point, you would think everything is normal but still your battery is not great. (FYI - Facebook app must go. It was a huge battery sucker.)
- I uninstalled a few apps which were draining the battery. Others I chose to keep.
- At this point, I still had the same battery life.
- Install greenify -> Greenify the apps and your battery life will slightly increase.
- I did notice that the Cell Standby was using a lot of battery. I have two SIM cards out of which I barely use the second one and that SIM works on VOLTE. I disabled that SIM card completely and it did wonders. That accounted for almost 10-20% of battery life.
- Lastly - I have installed tasker - and I have a bunch of profiles which help me automatically switch to wifi, toggle autosync every 15 mins, turn off data while I'm asleep etc.
- Post my tasker implementation, I let the profiles settle in and wiped my cache to start afresh and now it looks like I should be able to get to 6-7 hours SOT!
