Oops, I missed it. But I am happy to report that since I disabled backup about 12hrs ago, drain is reduced somewhat. It is still high for my liking but better than before.Mate

Agree completely. I am not in a race for more SoT. I just wanted to know the reasons behind abnormally high android os and system drain. The gadgets that we buy are meant to be used and enjoyed. No point in crippling it to such an extent that it defeats the very purpose of buying it in the first place.I don't see why people want more than 5 or 6 hrs of SOT honestly I get 5.5 or 6 max that's perfect for me if you want 8 hrs plus then what life do you have as long as the phone last all day I'm good try enjoying life outside the phone a little more then stressing about getting more SOT than other users it's pointless also to cripple your phone with mods and turning off features or using naptime or greenify just defeats the purpose of having this great device with flagship specs
yeah mateWhen I first got the phone I unlocked bootloader rooted and did my usual setup and wasn't to thrilled with battery life tried different kernels as well plus followed every guide so I just used recovery tool and went back to complete stock and I'm very pleased with battery life and performance
good stats buddy! My battery life on the OnePlus 3T 64GB (OOS 4.1.1) has been quite good. Initially I had some really bad idle consumption due to me restoring apps via Titanium backup from my old phone, but after reinstalling them from the play store the problem fixed itself.
This was me watching a lot of youtube and browsing the web on automatic screen brightness and with WiFi/Data/GPS enabled. I usually only get about 5-6 hours of SOT, as I use my GPS very heavily during the day (1-2 hours).
Stock ROM, but rooted with Franco Kernel r18 using default settings and Adaway blocking. I use WhatsApp, Hangouts, Skype, Slack, Google Now for IMs and they cause a lot of wakelocks, but my standby time is still excellent with 2-3% per 8 hour of standby.good stats buddy!
full stock??
I didn't do much, I don't use Facebook app, instagram, twitter, etc. I use it on my Chrome browser, works fine. I don't get the terrible battery drains caused by those apps. Can't help it, have to ask... What on earth do you people do with your phone when you get those 8-10h screen on times? Many on those screenshots show that biggest three "drains" are screen, android system and android os. So, why is the screen on, if there is no app on that list that you are using?
No, I'm not unsatisfied with SOT. I can get 5hrs SOT and about 1.5d standby, with usage of swipe (Facebook-app), instagram, tapatalk, xda-labs, K9-mail. Just wondering if there is some substitute to those apps, that does not drain battery so much. Honestly I did think that I have quite normal usage pattern...
Yep, official facebook-app is battery hog, that's why I use Swipe. There is much that we can do to the battery drain by choise of apps and some settings, but usage pattern has biggest influence I think. So there is no point in direct comparison of SOT. Like I said, I'm very happy with 5-6h SOT that I'm getting with my usage pattern. Was just wondering what other people is doing with their phones when they get those 8-10h SOT. And of course I'm curious if there is something that I could do to get better SOT without change of usage pattern. I have already changed from official facebook-app to swipe, and changed all possible apps to dark theme. That way I got 1h more SOT.I didn't do much, I don't use Facebook app, instagram, twitter, etc. I use it on my Chrome browser, works fine. I don't get the terrible battery drains caused by those apps.
