Screen on time

I have auto-brightness enable and since I have the prepaid sim card I never want to enable mobile data, with this I got more than 7 hours sot.

Would you mind sharing your ROM info? BTW, I don't see Facebook on your list, which I found to be a major battery killer. FYI, I'm on v10c-SEA-XX ROM

All stock.. Although I have the unlucky h870k. ? Tried to disable things I don't use. & I agree, the Facebook app is a battery killer. It was so bad on my S5 so I'm used to using the mobile site now.

Background data is also restricted.

Things like Snapchat as well as some disabled apps have location & other permissions disabled to prevent apps trying to find filters and whatnot based off my location for example.

I uninstalled Facebook and disabled facebook app manager in apps, then downloaded Facebook lite app, which offers a lot but at 90% less battery...

I get around 5,5 to 6h on SOT. Did he use some tricks to have better SOT?

I got 8 a few times, just seeing if I can. Haha it's not normal, but greenify was a big part of it.

Well just because I don't use my phone that much that it's on standby for almost 2 days. I usually got around 6 and a half hours of sot within 24 hours.

So... 99% of smartphone count phone idle too low and LGs are perfect in this?
Really, S7 Edge and S8+ didn't have this problem, nor the G4, it all started with the G5.

So you are telling that on 13 hours of usage, with almost 2 hours of sot (so 11 hours of standby) is normal that the phone idle drain more than 50% compared to sot? If it is then why other phone doesn't have this stat so high in their battery settings? Just wondering...

For those who complain about battery life of G6, Here is a short view
9am-5pm continuous voice recording with 1 hour break in between
Around 10-15 camera clicks
Browsing use BRAVE browser, disable chrome for better life. Use BRAVE browser which is based on same chrome platform but more efficient.- 2hours
Facebook app used 40min around
Twitter sometime
WhatsApp for around 2hours
Screen brightness between 35~50%
Two sim cards, one on 4g LTE
Screen on time 6hours 10minutes


Remaining battery-20%
