Mine went 100->65 over a 1hr period of working out. This included workout app+timer, spotify+bluetooth, reddit/etc. browsing in between sets.

Not sure if I should be worried?

I dont think this is a recalibration is the issue as the battery did perform well considering the usage even though it wasnt you google who used it, before reseting the thing, try leaving the phone on charge and connected to wifi over night once, make sure there are no sync issues with google (and any other account logged in but mostly google) before hand as that is mostly the case for gservices high battery usage, and manually sync it to make sure it syncs correctly, if it doesnt try removing the account and than logging back in.
The phone idle usage is probably because of gservices keeping the phone awake on idle and/or crappy reception, also disable the preinstalled google apps (and any other apps) that u dont use.
okies. But one more thing.. a weird thing is happening with my mobile for the past 2 days. my phone never went beyond 36C even when I use it in direct sunlight sometimes. and my phone felt warm only when i used it in direct sunlight. otherwise no matter what the temperature, my phone stayed very lil warm. from Day before yestrday , during my travel, or when idle. the phone starts at 26-28C, and suddenly raises upto 33. and today it set a all time high going till 39C and the phone felt pretty much warm even when there was no sunlight and the ambient temperature throughout my travel stayed at 25C. i was just seeing youtube videos, for which my phonw never even got a bit warm, today it was high. and even unlocking and replying in fb messenger gets it to 36-37C. what suddenly happened to my Mobile. I'm pretty much mobile. for something which never crossed 36 suddnely going near 40 and feels pretty warm to touch.

Recently an update came on Friday.. Guess After that it even became worse... Just unlocking the phone and messaging or using the gallery raises my phone temperature around 34_35.. Suddenly when idle it increases. Making me crazy. Gsam monitor was installed and observed android and google services at top..
I ask you the question, did you reset your mobile?

Something brilliant happened yesterday that I haven't experienced on a smartphone ever before.

I charged the G6 to 100% before I left for the station to catch a train to my work place. Which is about 5 hours away. Before and during the trip, I used the Google camera to take quite a few photos. Data was off but phone signal would change a lot since I'm on a moving train so battery should technically be affected. The phone screen was on for pretty much the whole trip while I watched multiple episodes of The Office and listened to music between them.

After I reached my place, then I switched on the data and checked Whatsapp and other apps for a good 1-2 hours.

Despite all of this, the SOT actually was 6+ hours! With about 15% to spare! I've never had a phone that lasted this long before. Granted the data was off for the whole trip but this kinda shows if we use the G6 purely as a media device for consuming stored music or videos and not as a communication device, the battery should easily last hours.

even if it is recent, you will have or have a corrupted program or malware. If it's always the same after reset is that the problem is hardware, in your place I will send it to the after-sales service

This! This has been my result from day one. 4 hrs SOT max. Tried resets, etc. I'm using the G600k model in the USA on Tmobile. Maybe that has something to do with the ****ty battery life.

I am pretty sure that LG G6 can achieve great SOT and standby times..try to figure out what app exceeds batteryisage, and force stop it..then,check again battery usage..

Whenever i use my school wifi, my standby and screenon time is horrific. However every where else is fine. For example, when i use my phone at home with wifi i usually get around 5hrs SOT easily. But in school i usually get around 2-3 hrs max. I can't ask the school to reset their wifi just for me so i gotta deal with it but try resetting your routers and stuff. It could help. And if youre on data, get good signal. If you live in an area with horrible signal, good luck because your phone is gonna constantly try to get some signals

Bad SOT times on LG g6

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the LG G6 before depleting the battery.

Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
I get about 2.5 hours - 3.5 hours SOT over 22 hours of usage on Mobile data. It's not good. Anyone has any idea how to improve this?
