Why would you need BT on when you're asleep? That's an unnecessary battery killer any time.My Nex loses 8% of the battery during the night (10h). I have WiFi and BT enabled. AOD off. In the statistics I do not see any application draining the battery. The situation repeats the second day in a row. Previously I had AOD at night and the drop was similar...View attachment 4647541View attachment 4647542

Was that all on LTE?First cycle. Am VERY impressed.
Was your SoT in total achieved on LTE?Intense gaming. Am VERY happy. Indian Nex.
For your SoT numbers on LTE, over what span of time was that achieved?10 hours of SOT using wifi. 7.5 hours of SOT using 4g. peace
Well you're not going to get much better than the Nex. Just check GSMArena's battery list to confirm. The battery life is epic. Was that all on LTE?

Thank you.
To everyone else, am really interested in knowing people's all day LTE SoT numbers for heavy social media (WhatsApp, Reddit etc) and browsing usage without any gaming. Am looking out for phones with OLED and large wide screens like the Vivo NEX' but the battery must last all day on LTE/HSPA+ coz I seldom get the chance to charge in between before I get back home.
GSMA's battery stats are totally worthless. I cannot take their tests seriously anymore. I speak from experience, not one claim made by GSMA is remotely true for a number of phones I have had used. Note 4 GSMA gave it some epic numbers back in the days, I have tried my Note 4 in light - medium - moderate - heavy usage over WiFi and LTE in 4 different countries. Their numbers were just not reproducible not even with a relaxed margin of variance. The same was true with my extensive tests with the Oneplus One and the Samsung S8+ my wife uses. GSMA rated the LG V40 as downright terrible but XDA forumers can show plenty of examples over WiFi alone how that is simply not true. At work I have a colleague who has a new Note 9 Exynos version, GSMA rated it really well with some good stats, their numbers are highly suspect now with us seeing terrible 5-6hrs of SoT with mixed WiFi and LTE with excellent reception in the area. Factory reset yielded no joy, Exynos is just plain subpar when it comes to battery usage and its DVFS curves versus snapdragon SD 845 as reported by Note 9 users on XDA but GSMA would have you thinking otherwise.Well you're not going to get much better than the Nex. Sounds to me like you don't know how the GSMArena battery tests work. It's an average indicator to give you a general idea. There's also a slider on top so you can adjust the usage for your needs.GSMA's battery stats are totally worthless. I cannot take their tests seriously anymore. That's why I rather seek out real world numbers from actual people on forums like XDA, however so many numbers here are what appears to be primarily WiFi usage. I need more LTE only usage stats, if Vivo NEX can really dish out like 7-8hrs of SoT on pure LTE for heavy social media and browsing (without gaming) I'd buy the phone asap![]()
