In my opinion, yes. It's still just as good as anything out there especially for the current price.
Totally agree with the above comment. It feels as if I am already using Oneplus 7 .
Using Nova launcher pro + power shader (for regular notification bar) + pitch black theme.
One thing I feel is missing is 960fps slow mo. Rest all is great .
anyone updated their vivo to the latest version 1.9.2 for global? and hows the SOT? peace
My SOT improved by about an hour to just short of 9hrs. That's with about 20 apps running in the background including a vpn. Also mostly on wifi.
Brought a Vivo nex 5 days back. Battery back up is not as said in forums and reviews. I get SOT only for 5 hrs for avg usage. Is there any way to improve the battery performance??

Since everything is killed by default in Funtouch it would be helpful telling us how you use it. Games, video, chatting, Facebook, Snapchat etc.Brought a Vivo nex 5 days back. Max of 45 mins gaming , videos for an hour , music for 45 mins. These are major usage. whatsapp, google news, calls are minimal usage. Thats it.
It's tough to answer your question. Some games are very heavy on the battery as are videos depending on whether they're Youtube or other apps. You have to be more specific. If you have Facebook or Snapchat running in the background then they are notorious battery killers.
Game - Pubg at HD frame rate set at high. Not a youtuber. Just watch movies in Netflix or Prime video. I use FB very rarely but will close the application and won't allow it to run in background. Never use snapchat. One thing i noticed is even without playing any games my SOT comes around only for 5 hrs but charge withstand capacity increases by 3 hrs.
My phone battery was completely was completely drained out of box. Is that normal?
I've never had a new phone completely drained out of the box. That's not a good sign and sounds like the problem. You should get a minimum average of 7+ hours.
Battery stats from yesterday. Over 9hrs of SOT and 24 apps running in the background with almost 30 minutes of regular calls, one hour of whatsapp calls, about 2 hours of vpn use, 20 minutes of playing Unkilled, browsing, whatsapp messaging, YouTube etc and 1.5 hrs of mobile data use. It's still very impressive after 6 months.

Sorry but Gsam works for you? I installed it but statistics were all wrong
It doesn't capture all the apps properly but it's good for sot, talk time etc.
with new update to funtouch os 9 android 9 my vivo nex s global "Screen On" went up from 7h 20min to 9h10m
