Exynos SoC
Power mode - Optimised
Optimise settings - OFF
Adaptive battery - OFF
AoD - OFF
Night mode always ON
WiFI, 4G, BT, NFC, location - ON
Disabled most of the Samsung bloat using ADB, replaced launcher with Nova, animations set to 0.5x
Hm, refreshing - someones got the exact same setup as me. Only difference here is that my power mode is set to medium. My device was overheating, a limited cpu speed seemed sensible - as this means lower voltages etc etc. You have around 7% left here, with the same amount of usage my device would have about 20% left. my everyday sot is 8hours minimum.

How often do you back up whatsapp? I ask because I got like 2 gigs and I had it backed up weekly instead of daily. If I use mainly whatsapp, then I can get at around 8hr sot, could be worse or better depending on cell signal.
I hate whatsapp backup so it's Always disabled... So, i think that's not the problem :/

sot

Hey guys, how are your performances overall after months of use and after all the updates? I'm thinking of buying this phone in these days seeing that it's actually the only phone worth buying,, but some of these screens are really terrifying me. I'm using an iP6 which is 5 years old and i've changed the battery about a year and a half ago, but i easily get at least 5h30m SOT and about 28h standby time. I saw some screens with less than 4h SOT!

Average SOT for me is 3 hours, I've been using it for 8 months, I do not recommend this phone if the battery is a concern to you, it tops up pretty quickly because it's small but doesn't last long.

Exynos S10E, Nova launcher, bixby off, dark theme, stupid apps disabled/uninstalled, looking about 6-7 hours SOT!

Playing movies and stuff will get a lot more out as well, screen is a battery sipper. CPU is a bit intense so turn on the "Medium power savings" option to down the cpu to 70%, you'll get SD845 performance which is still good, and a solid bit more battery too!
Which version are you on?
I recently updated to G970FXXU3ASG8 India. I am getting SOT of 3Hr 2Min with device idle time 1 day 1 Hr at 23% left. Dark theme, stupid apps disabled/uninstalled, background data off, background usage off, adaptive medium power savings from 30%. How can I improve my battery life? Please help

Yeah, I'm giving up on this phone getting around 2 - 2,5h SOT. Exynos is so awful, not even mentioning the camera being wonky almost all the time. Might be my last Samsung.

From my personal experience the s10 software is so far the most polished android experience from Samsung. Unfortunately other android phone makers can and often do better job with their software. My first Samsung phone was galaxy S2. And it wasn't pleasant experience. The worst I remember was Galaxy s3 after update to 4.3 jellybean. It turned phone into unusable piece of tech with countless bugs.
I think the best android experience as of today is oneplus or pixel. But I don't like big phones so oneplus is out of game for me and pixel is kinda weird compromise with very very premium price.

LOL some of the posts in here are hilarious.... Yeah 9 or 10 hours screen on time, sureeeeeeee. Leaving your phone on min brightness while not using it on a black screen to get some xda likes is pretty pathetic. For a NORMAL person who uses their phone like a normal person, these numbers are not possible or remotely realistic. Hey you boosted your xda cred though right?

Finally someone that is realistic, using a device nowadays for me means wifi, bluetooth, autosync on all the time. Then the usage is realistic. Now everyone is searching for fixes for something that needs no fix.

Exactly. If I have to hobble my phone to make it last more than two hours, and essentially make it no longer a "smart"phone, is this real usage case? Is this a genuine topic or a contest to see who can get the highest SOT?

Mine is realistic. WiFi on, syncing 3 email accounts, web surfing, playing games, YouTube, forums, reading my news feed. Normally between 6 and 7 hours screen time over a full day. The only I don't sync is Facebook, poorly written app that uses way too much battery to constantly sync.
