It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Google Pixel 4a before depleting the battery.

Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

If I charged it to 100% and then just used it normally, I'm sure I could get a full day from my Pixel 4a with no problem; but I usually try to keep my phone in the 20-80% range, never putting it at 100%. Also, with the quick charger, it's easy to just throw it on a charger for about 30 minutes and get another 50% of life. The exception to this rule is when I don't think I'll be able to charge the phone at all during the day, or maybe not very often. :)

Anyone for any screen on time states?

Currently using pixel 3a xl and get about 8 hours.

Wonder if its worth the upgrade. Extra storage and ram would be but with the 3a xl the battery lasts me about two days which is great.

Can someone run work 2.0 battery life test with 50% brightness? Not necessarily complete test, half is enough.
This result seems too good...

Didn't screen capture but got about 10.5 SOT, down to about 25%

Similar results today, 4.5hrs SOT with 72% remaining
That's pretty impressive. Possibly time for an upgrade then for me. Not that there is anything wrong with the 3a XL just wouldn't mind a smaller phone, but I wanted to keep the same battery life, which the 4a looks to have.

No screenshot yet.
On android Q, 4G and Wifi on, AOD on, I have about 7:40 screen on time after one day use.

Seems good to me

I have noticed an improvement since last update don't know if it's just from using the phone more or of it's from the update but 5 hours and 45 mins sot all on data with bluetooth going for 6 of the day seems pretty good to me.

Thanks, I want to give my mom a new phone, her sony xa2 ultra have a crazy screen and is driving me and her nuts.

I think for her a phone with a bigger bezel will be easier to use than a full screen phone, and I found new 3aXL for 250.
Cool. I would recommend the 3aXL.

Note 4 has a substantially larger battery and less powerful chipset; not really a fair comparison. My criteria is making it through a busy day with room to spare in case I can't charge overnight. 4a easily accomplishes that.

hmm, well, but for that the battery is already over 3 years old and the technology is outdated, especially concerning the structure width.

Any tips for getting good battery life? I average around 4hrs sot and have seen others get more. Just got my device this weekend.
