Got the one off dealextreme that was about $1, been on a couple of days, don't really notice it and it seems to be doing the job. That said, I'm certainly not a snob when it comes to screen protectors.

Hi guys. Got my BodyGuardz about a week ago - but have been dealing with my newborn baby son so been too busy to post about it.

Anyway, I love it!
Installation was identical to the ZAGG shield, but seemed to go on better.

There is still a slight orange peel effect (even though they claim there isn't) - but it's a hell of a lot better than on the ZAGG. The bodyguardz has a better fit and seems "thinner" though quality and hardwearingness is seemingly unaffected by this.

It's perfectly clear and although there is also some of the "drag" effect found on the ZAGG, once again it is less and perfectly bearable.

All of this coupled with the fact it comes with 2 shields, not just 1, and I am dead pleased with it. I give it 8.5/10.

So my ratings table now looks like this (all scores out of 10):

BodyGuardz: 8.5
ZAGG InvisibleShield: 6
Martin Fields: 4
HTC's own: 4

Can't everyone just agree please! I really need a screen protector as I'm scared i'm going to scratch it :(. Though I used my touch HD for about 2 months without one without any adverse effects.

So I've been using PDAs with touchscreens for quite some time (see my illustrious HTC device history in my sig!) and have never really found a screen protector I am happy with. I think I've tried most (ZAGG, Brando, MFOP etc etc)

I really need to replace my current Martin Fields protector because it's been annihilated.

So far on my DHD I have tried:

HTC's own - very soft plastic that scratched easily. Looked ugly after no time. I liked the price, fit and ease of installation though.

ZAGG Invisibleshield - I managed to put it on upside-down which didn't help. I love how hard-wearing it is (self-healing etc) but I hate the orange peel effect and the "sticky" feeling

Martin Fields - Didn't fit from the start - looked great to begin with but again, scratches so easily and looks awful now.

So I want to try something else (if there is anything!)
I really like how hard-wearing the ZAGG is, so if there is nothing else I'll go back to ZAGG - but I'd like to see if there's anything similar (but better) out there.
just buy the otter defender case. great defense from drops plus it has a screen proptecltor built in
