Planning to get a Redmi Note 7 or Note 7 pro. Are they any good quality screen protectors or tempered glass protectors available which don't block the screen.

I have heard good things about Gadgetshieldz screen protectors as they have some self healing thing in their screen protectors.. Even for my Note 7 I have ordered a screen protector and a skin and waiting for it to get delivered.

I've been using the 2.5D Curved Tempered Glass from GlazedInc. The price is Rs.450 and I have done a detailed review about it on the channel. Two major things I liked about this glass

1) Actual Curved Edges unlike the typical glasses which have flat edges
2)Black borders don't intrude into the display like other glasses

Here's my review

Even though it has Gorilla glass 5 It needs to protect from scratches. If you think Screen protectors are unnecessary then why smartphones have pre-installed screen protector.

I used my oneplus 3 for two years without a screen protector and a case. So slim so elegant. It was so easy to use, hold and when in pocket. not a single scratch.
But yes. Careless use. I dropped it several times, last time screen got a crack line. Still working fine. No protectors at all.

Many of the people are not as you're, They'll lose grip at some situations and Obviously they will drop. if they applied screen protectors, It will protect from scratches.

No. My point is these new displays are good against sratches. If you are concern only about scratches you don't need a screen protector. But for the drops it's a different story.

My recommendation is hydrogel screen savers, for this model would buy both front and rear. Perfectly Fit to the edge 2.5 D, the only drawback I see is that the footprints are more easily fixed, but you pass one or two times a day a micro-fiber cloth and ready. I'Ve Been wearing one in a REDMI Note 4 for a year and it's almost as new.

Gadgetshieldz screen protectors are recommendable screen protectors for any device. I'm using it on my current note 7 and I've used it on my previous devices too for Six months. No issues was found and peel off effect. And it has the capability to heal itself.

The "ANEWSIR redmi note 7 screen protector" works really really well (very premium and I like the additional safety with it). A bit more expensive than your average type but I think it's worth it.

In addition I would use the "MOFI" cases. They have an awesome though, sleek design and are very protective as well.
Hope that helps, cheers! :D

I'm using the Ferilsno (think that's how your spell it) 2.5 D full screen tempered glass on the front.

Got my RN7 3 days ago and this screen cover thru Amazon. Put it on soon as I took it out the box to avoid any problems!

Comes in a 2 pack for 7.99.
Highly recommend this brand or one of the full screen type 2.5D tempered glass screen covers. Sensitivity and clarity are top notch. Almost like it's not there at all.

Between this and the free clear TPU case that was in my box, I'm happy to say my phone's fully projected and feels great!

Do not buy the glazedinc screen. It is a waste of money. Buy any regular edge to edge screens.

I bought the screen from them after seeing the posts here, I believe these are the owners themselves or paid advertisements.

    1. The screen protector is only curved on the front and not on the back. Since the note 7 display itself is curved, you cant get a perfect fitting without glass curved on the back (or making the size smaller - see below). This is decieving the customer cosidering they advertise it as the only "real curved glass" in the market.
    2. Since the glass is not curved, they made the sides almost a millimeter smaller than the display (half a millimeter smaller on each side if you get fitting proper). This is the only way to have the glass stick properly to the display (without actual curve/bend). This means edge to edge is again just marketing talk and not correct.
    3. The packaging is the worst I have seen till date. They just bubble wrapped it and put inside a thin carboard box (not amazon style hard packing box, just a thin white box). The box itself was beat/bend to death when I recieved it and I was almost sure the glass was broken (But luckily it was not). Anyways considering they charge almost double the rate of other glasses this is ridiculous.
    4. They advertise zero bubbles. I believe this mostly comes down to how strong the adhesive is and how old the screen is - older the screen is, weaker the adhesive becomes. I have entire side of the screen is filled with bubbles and it doesn't go (I applied it today, may be this will disappear after few days). But my impression is their adhesive is not the strongest.

My advise: Just buy a regular edge to edge from amazon/flipkart or any other market places. This is not worth the money.

Gorilla glass 5 is tough to break, but still easily scratchable.

It's gorilla glass 5, you don't need screen protectors.
Nop. You need it. 2 days old phone, already 2 scratches. The first scratch was painful, now I don't care anymore.
