If it makes you feel any better, my glass cracked in two different places from sliding off my chest while I was laying on the floor.

I dropped mine from about 5 feet in the air onto solid concrete. It landed directly on the back side (battery cover) and hardly marked my back casing and nothing happened to the phone at all.

No screen protector or case.

No, it cracked from about a 6 inch slide. That's the worst part about it. There's not a single mark on my phone because it was in a case when it happened. I called Samsung and they have to evaluate whether the damage was caused by me or some sort of manufacturing defect. I'm almost positive they're gonna rule against me despite how ridiculous the circumstances were.

Wow 6 inch fall and it cracked. I've thrown me phone on my bed before from like 6 feet and nothing but then again that's a soft area

It mostly depend on the point of impact. If you dropped it directly at it's corner, it'll most likely crack. And I feel the screen on this phone cracks way too easily. I've dropped it once on my bed. Luckily the screen didn't crack.

I have minor scratches on my screen from I have no clue what, I've had a case on it since day one and never lay my phone on its front only on the back and it has minor but noticeable scratches. Annoying and very weak GG

I use the otterbox defender series and I have dropped the phone onto big Lots floor from about 5.6 feet and there was not even a mark
