I recently updated my SGS20+ to Android 12; Stream2Auto is still present within Android Auto, but it crashes as it starts; I sent a few debug info. Anyone can help?

What about the post #2012, prev page, last week, with the guide for A12, did you read/follow, does it work for you?

No. My phone is not rooted and Screen2Auto DOES crash, it is not simply blocked or something similar.
If that's the only way, I think I have to give up using it.

Install AA 6.9.613744 after remove your current version

Maybe....
If it works, you must clear cache every time before you start S2A.

Even if S2A crashes for an API update in Android 12 / Android Auto 7, I think it should only be fixed to use the new ones.

If I enable Audio focus, then my infotainment Radio mutes immediately when I open S2A

If Audio focus is disabled, then Radio continues to play and mutes only when I e.g open YouTube from S2A and start playing a song/movie

Hence I keep Audio focus disabled

Somehow on my phone this function is buggy. Sometimes it pauses music, sometimes not.
For me it is better to disable this function and use Tasker instead to play/pause music.

I found this tip on fermata auto topic, it was written by Fcartone:

"I found the right version to use to have a normal working android auto with custom app. you need to uninstall android auto update and use version 6.9 but not a random one but the last one 6.9.613744, on my test phone i was on 6.9.613724 and wasn't work say me i need to update but with 6.9.613744 work perfectly for now"

I've tried and it works for me. (Samsung s21, android 12).

I've set up S2A on a rooted phone and it works as it should.

The only thing that bothers me is that when I get an email when I am connected to Android auto, I don't have and I don't hear notification from my email app (AquaMail).

How can I make my notification sound play on the car? I still get sounds and notifications for WhatsApp for instance. But not for AquaMail. What am I missing here?

That is a generel Android Auto bug. Sometimes there are no notification sounds.
You can clear data and cache and hope that it will work next time.

I had the same issues with a lot of apps...

So it is working for you now? In that case, please tell me what version of AA are you using.

any idea where I might have done that? I have tried everything. I uninstalled screen2auto, femeta and the like. I used root installer trying to uninstall android auto. I have updated to the newest android auto from the playstore and it is still showing spiltscreen. Afraid I will have to have to reset the phone.
