Why my screen goes sleep after 15 seconds of inactivity in screen2auto ? I have to run it again and with second try it stays ON always. Everytime I start the car i have to repeat it or open s2a twice before using. Any solution to that ?

I found that if I check option in "restore screen" called "touch brightness activation" then everything is ok and screen doesnt goes black at sleep time setted in settings of phone unless im in settings of phone. If I put my s2a in settings then it goes black after 15 seconds.. next thing is that this touch brightness activation from time to time puts my phone with max brightness if I dont even touch phone screen. It must be bugged at android 12. Can devs look into this ? Its annoying rly..
Im at android 12 OS but at android 10 and 11 same thing happens.
I would use s2a without any setting set under screen restore part of s2a settings.
I hope you will find a solution in new update.

I've had no issues on my non-rooted Pixel 6 pro even after multiple updates to play services and Android Auto.

No. Not going to if I can help it. I have automatic system updates off in developer settings. Don't know if that is enough to prevent it though.

12. That's what the Pixel 6/6 Pro comes with.

I installed S2A via AAEase (am on Android 12). The package name has thus been changed and "installed via Playstore" is also displayed. When I reset Android Auto (i.e. wipe all data) it shows S2A. This lasts about a day (sometimes less) and then it suddenly disappears. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this and how to fix it. Google seems to find a way to recognize S2A after all.

Edit:
It would be interesting if there are other users observing this strange behavior. And it would be interesting what phones and what firmware is installed.

I got S2A working on Android 12 w/ latest version of AA. Mirroring is working fine, except it doesn't show the video. I can see the subtitles, but no video. Any ideas?

What apps? Any apps with DRM(Netflix,Amazon,Hulu,HBO,etc.) Google doesn't allow screen mirroring, so video won't work.

Others like YouTube, CinemaHD, IPTV apps work.
