I saw that even if the phone is horizontal the mobile on the car is vertical, so what do I miss?
Where did you see that? I have never experienced that and I've been using this app over 2 years.I saw that even if the phone is horizontal the mobile on the car is vertical, so what do I miss?

this setting was disabled in my app, so maybe this is the solution? now it's on 90 degrees, yours?Mine is pretty much all default. But there is a four screen rotation setting under screen settings in the app.
Mine is off. My car screen matches whatever my phone screen shows as far as portrait or landscape.this setting was disabled in my app, so maybe this is the solution? now it's on 90 degrees, yours?
I set it to 90 degrees when Android Auto is connected and then unset the forced rotation once Android Auto is turned off. All of this is achieved through tasker.Mine is off. My car screen matches whatever my phone screen shows as far as portrait or landscape.

1. instal the basic version of android auto (If android auto is part of andoid system, is necessary uninstall all upgrades in fact andoid auto goes back to version 1)
2.install aaad and then all apps you want for android auto
3. install the latest version of android auto
4.disable playprotect

So i disabled the settings like at the first place and now the rotation is according to the phone and after the disconnection of android auto, it still stays rotate...and not according to the phone so that is a problemI set it to 90 degrees when Android Auto is connected and then unset the forced rotation once Android Auto is turned off. All of this is achieved through tasker.
Cheers,
B.D.
I use tasker profile to rotate 90 deg when auto android is engaged (enter criteria), and then an exit task to turn off fixed rotation once Android Auto is disengaged (exit criteria). You have to turn off Autororate with Tasker after changing rotation. This did the trick for me.
You need:
1.Force rotation
2.Wait time of 500ms
3.Autorotate off
May be phone type? I've never had to use tasker, mine rotates back to normal. This is on Moto phones, One Plus, and Pixel 6 Pro.why anyhow I need to use tasker for this? why it not now when the Android auto is disconnected then use the device settings and not rotate ?
I have pixel 7 pro and its not rotate back after disconnection from Android autoMay be phone type? I've never had to use tasker, mine rotates back to normal. This is on Moto phones, One Plus, and Pixel 6 Pro.
Not sure. I'm assuming you already have Auto rotate On in your phone settings?I have pixel 7 pro and its not rotate back after disconnection from Android auto
Installed now again with AAEASE and it's working! I've denied root on the AAEASE to work and then gave root to S2Auto
You must install s2a with a changed name. Some use king installer, some use AAAD, some use AAEASE. Google recognizes the app otherwise.I'm on A13 with root using the latest APK for AA v9.xxx
I installed S2A latest file but it doesn't appear on AA menu. Any ideas?? Is there anything to do to S2A appears on AA??
A question , istall-i was showed ? by adb ,could you tell me why?Hello everyone!
There is a way to install any applications for AA on devices without Root.
Important! Not known how long it will work (until Google closed it), but now it works, including for S2A.
How it works:
1. Put the ADB folder on the PC.
2. Put the applications that we want to install in ADB folder.
3. Turn on USB debugging and connect the smartphone to PC. Enter ADB folder through cmd (cd c:\ ADB)
4. Enter the following commands (inserting apk name instead blablabla)
5. After that, the application should appear in Android Auto listCode:adb push blablabla.apk /data/local/tmp/app.apk adb shell pm install -i "com.android.vending" -r /data/local/tmp/app.apk adb shell rm /data/local/tmp/app.apk
To install S2A in this way, recommended use the latest version 3.5beta
Attention!
There may be bugs when running S2A without Root. But what we have is what we have.
However, Сarstream and Fermata Auto apps work fine.
Other than the first time years ago, all I do is install AAEASE. Then run it and install S2A with it.Would someone be kind enough to post a draft of a guide, from a to z? SInce starting to use it for a rooted note9 to now, a lot has changed, the aio patcher doesnt work, so i cannot shrink the navbar, also s2a always works and then it doesn't and I would like to have my trusty road companion back with me.
Also, before being told, i saw that here are fragments of information here and there, but that generally end up in intermitent working s2a.
Thank you in advance !
Lucky Patcher actually calls it "Cloning".hello how do you rename the apk with lucky patcher ... i'm interested thank you
