S2echo is not working on Honda CRV's head unit.
If I freeze bluetooth apps in car phone, the head unit will not show android auto icon.
Android auto will not working without Bluetooth connection with car phone. Although there's still bluetooth connection between my daily phone and head unit with s2echo on it.
Any help?

Samsung Galaxy s7 lineageOs rooted. Aaease stuck on installing screen2auto. Any advices?
If I need to install it manually then should I use aa aio tweaker? And what exact steps I need to do in AA aio tweaker?
P.S. by installing screen2auto manually I am getting Google play security warnings and suggestions to uninstall. And it does not show in Android auto apps even after executing aa unlock

Probably. I started getting black screen in screen2auto.
So I updated everything: Android auto, magisk, screen2auto, aaease, AA aio tweaker.
Now I have Android auto with a cool walk and cannot get back screen2auto to appear in my Android auto apps list. With all of the updated and previously mentioned applications.
Also screen2auto is marked as malicious and constantly pinging me to uninstall it. Disabling play market security does not resolve that.
I still managed to get fermata to the android auto apps list by following this manual:

for me AAEASE is a no go as it returns error 500 while trying to download.it looks work hard
installing S2A manually also using tips shared on previous posts didn't help me.
XZ1c, A9 Stock + Magisk 25.2 + AA AIO Tweaker + latest AA
instead, LSPOSED + Fermata module worked at first try.
in the past I got S2A working on same phone by using LOS 17.1 but seems there are issue for latest versions on AA USB connection so I have to stick to stock for a while.
anyway I think everybody would love an universal and easy way to install S2A on rooted phone, just like as did for Fermata Auto

S2A is still working for me with coolwalk. I've had coolwalk enabled for a few months now and had no issues with S2A.

Are you up for an risky experiment? Try clearing Android auto data and then try adding S2A icon to Android auto again?
If you succeed then I would like to know exact steps which you followed

I am not up for this on my main phone because Google keeps changing things and I am in a good steady state. However, if I get a chance, I will try on an older phone in the near future and let you know the results.

i too would be interested on your setup / steps followed to have S2A working on newest AA.
I have xperia xz1 root. I installed Screen2auto with AAAD apk. It has been working without any problems for several months. AAEase does not install any applications, it just displays the message:
"Server returned HTTP 500". Even reloading the original stock ROM A9, changing magisk, restoring factory settings did not help. Nothing. Previously, AAEase worked on one of the first versions. Interestingly, on unrooted xperia 1 everything works.

O.k. I think I got it. For my case Aaease was downloading screen to auto but froze during installation. Android system complaining that screen2auto is malicious and it was not displaying in Android auto app list
So my steps:
Uninstall screen2auto
Clear data for Android auto
Launch Android auto, enable developer options. Go in developer options and enable unknown sources
Open any better file explorer internal storage/android/data/ru.inceptive.aaease/files/InceptiveStory/apks/s2a.apk (most likely it got downloaded there via aaease but install not finished).
Copy s2a.apk to more accessible location like downloads
Open aaease -> settings -> automatic way with no root -> select s2a.aok from downloads
Let it finish installing and launch screen2auto. Accept all permissions
Open android auto->customize launcher and confirm, that screen2auto is present there
So my steps:

Still working for me after I got Coolwalk yesterday. Pixel 6 Pro unrooted. Android 12.
Installed S2A with AAEASE last April. No other apps used. Haven't had to reinstall through multiple Android Auto updates.

Aease 500 error,same on my phone. I reinstall and root my phone near 30 times,nouseful.now I get it,I find another 0.62 aaease download last year.delete aaease0.62 date,cache and Uninstalle it on my phone now,and install the old one 0.62 download last year ,it work right.but screen not work on my car screen ,just black after press the icon on aa.

You must install s2a with a changed name. Some use king installer, some use AAAD, some use AAEASE. Google recognizes the app otherwise.11Would someone be kind enough to post a draft of a guide, from a to z? SInce starting to use it for a rooted note9 to now, a lot has changed, the aio patcher doesnt work, so i cannot shrink the navbar, also s2a always works and then it doesn't and I would like to have my trusty road companion back with me .

Installation and setup:
1. Download and Install Screen2Auto

4. Launch the application and perform the initial setup of permission recovery. Click on the button and save them.5. Make the necessary settings as desired.
Warning:
If, after turning off the smartphone or exiting AA (turned off the car, closed the emulator, removed the USB), the resolution of the smartphone did not return to its original state (the recovery settings, failure, smartphone features, etc. were set incorrectly, etc.), you need go to Settings → Reset settings and select the WM SIZE RESET option. Resolution will be restored to factory.

9The only way (similar method from the Fermata player thread) I found to overcome the problem for now is:
- Use Android Auto version 7.0.614104 (tried v7.1.614554, it does not work in any way).
- Rename the Screen2Auto app v3.6.2 (change the ru.inceptive.screentwoauto name) with Lucky Patcher or any other rename apk app.
- Uninstall the original Screen2Auto and install the renamed one.
- Enable Unknown Sources on AA and patch/add the newly renamed app to AA with AA IO Tweaker as you normally would.
I tried turning off/on the car, disconnected and rebooted the phone, Screen2Auto hasn't disappeared yet.6
Lucky Patcher actually calls it "Cloning".
There are also other apps like ApkRenamer and Apk Editor Pro, but haven't tried them.
