Is it definitely works. I'm using S20 Ultra Exynos and it works. You just need to make sure you're already at 120hz, then press enter to get it to work at the end of the batch. If you use and app such as Droid Info, it will tell you your refresh rate.

I forgot to mark this project as discontinued, since I'm making a new, more extreme and better one and I sold my S20 a few months ago.

But to answer your question, what exactly do you want to restore? I could send you an adb command.
