I have downloaded the latest... and my 'problem' remains...

Settings -> About phone -> System updates:
Gives me the message: "Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time."

FYI - I've tried this on WiFi and on 3G
Anyone else having issues not getting the update?

New script works perfectly. Now rooted with update.

The afterupdate.bat didn't want to run at first under USB "none" but after turning USB debugging on and off and switching to mass storage and then back to none it worked perfectly.

Thanks for your hard work! :)

Ok, so I have GladiAtrix rite now on 1.26, arooted over soc, webtop hack undone. Given i manage to uninstall the GA as described here (anybody have the GA backup file?):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1015452&page=2

Will it be possible to run the updated files rite over or would i still need to flash to stock and go from the very beginning? Not sure if i like the full re-flash idea...
Or would new GA version save ppl with roms like myself all the trouble of having to go back to stock?

Correct. You will have to get root again using aroot.
Incorrect, this script has aRoot's method embedded in it. You shouldn't have to run anything before or after.

The backup is created when you run GladiAtrix. It should be on your /sdcard

So I have script runner's remorse...

I ran this and chose not to add the APN mod during the install because I don't tether too much and Barnacle works fine most of the time; and I don't want to lose my unlimited data if AT&T force me over to the Tethering Plan....

but now I am thinking what the heck, let's do it. How would I go about adding the APN? Should I rerun your script or use the method in the APN thread made for 1.2.6?

Thanks!

I know! Yet its not there :( all iget when trying to uninstall GA is this (see pic)
Am i missing something simple here????
Is your phone mounted for USB Mass Storage? If so, make sure USB Connection is set to "None."

Also go into Settings -> SD card & phone storage and make sure that internal phone storage is mounted.

First off, THANK YOU for all the hard work!

For those of us who ran the script before it was updated to allow sideloading, etc... What do we need to do to enable these functions now? Donesn't seem like re-running the scripts is the right option.

Not clear which stock version

I can't use this script since it seems like it only works to reroot if it was rooted when the version was 4.1.2.6. I had already updated to 4.1.57 before I even thought about rooting.

Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like the 'psneuter' doesn't work so nothing happens.

Please help if this should be possible.

TL;DR: running 4.1.57, can't root.

True, BUT if you check out this forum, then you can flash it and go from there, but that's only if you're willing to start from scratch... =)
