Didn't work with the new Bell upgrade with froyo 2.2.2. I had to use GingerBreak too. If you use GB do not forget to backup your internal SD card...

If you follow the same procedure as updating an AT&T phone, it will probably work.I just updated my Bell Atrix today (new official update from Moto. to Android 2.2.2 with radio N_01.77.15P) This is supposed to fix the data connection drop issue, skype and a couple of other minor glitches.
They just seem to have blocked psneuter. I'll now have to find an other way to root my phone ;-(
Great work love it, so easy but...... I do not have anything called "Free Tether" in my list of APN's did I do something wrong and how would I fix it.Does anybody know what would happen if you just leave the APN on Free Tether? Is there are any reason to switch back from Free Tether after tethering?
rom manager shouldn't be involved at all with this process... so yea no CWM from rom managerhi there, im new to this forum, but i was active in the HTC Liberty/Aria forums...I followed these instructions to the letter...did the gladroot script, did the update to 1.57, rebooted, ran the afterupdate(granted SU permission), and rebooted. It took along time to reboot, but it did just fine. well, after installing some apps and updating the apps that were preinstalled, i rebooted to this message...
Failed to boot 2
Starting RSD mode
Well, it just sits there. A quick google search provided me with links to posts telling me that their phones were bricked. I did the WHOLE process over again, step by step, and it did the same thing. I THINK the problem is installing Rom Manager then flashing CWM... I have searched the forums, but didnt come up with anyone with the exact same problem, nor could i nail it down to any one thing. I do the process over again and NOT install CWM from Rom manager, or should i just not install it all together?
XDA Gurus, PLEASE help!

Not entirely sure. But you should be fine either way. Update to 1.83 and run the afterupdate.ok, now after everything is all done, exactly the way the tutorial says and i updated to 1.57 as instructed, if i goto system updates again, the att update to 1.83 is there. Is it safe to update to that, or will i lose root and have to do it all over again? im sorry for my n00bness, but i swear i catch on fast!
