What an excellent idea and it works really well. Thanks guys.
Thanks!
I'm glad you like it ;)

Edit: Does the screenshot function work in aroma?
"vol -" and "power button"

If it works, maybe anyone of you would like to do some screenshots so we can put some nice graphics in the first post ;)

Anyone any idea of how much this actually removes. Megabyte wise.

If you go to your ROMCleaner
folder, (internal or external sdcard). Go to logs and open ROMCleaner_AROMA.log

It will tell you how much space there's before and after ROM Cleaner.

There are a few basic ones here.
cheers
Thanks mate!

Will have a look at them later

"Morning" guys, could anyone please do a "log collection" and upload it here?

*Flash the zip
*When in main menu, press "Log Collection"
*Then press "Advanced Power Menu" and reboot.

Thanks! :)

I accidently removed smemo and snote by rom cleaner
didnt make backup

i want them back please
Download ROMCleaner_user.txt from 2nd post and edit it with notepad++ (if in windows)
Then copy your user.txt to the ROMCleaner folder.

Flash the ROM again without wipe followed by ROM Cleaner. Now your user.txt will he used and s-memo will be back.

Alt. Extract needed apks and copy them to /system/app
Set permissions rw-r--r-- and reboot.

It's still recommended to edit your own ROMCleaner_user.txt.
Each app/file has a description so it should be easy to know what the app does.

Good luck!

I thought, as it was AROMA, you selected what to remove and not, but I see from your more detailed answer that is not the case, so just disregard my answer.
I see :)

Well I think aroma select options takes too much time and it also makes it really hard if not impossible for the user to add own apps to the removal list.

Hi Guys,

I'm not an expert so I wanna make sure I understand what u mean.
I copy that zip file and flash it on my phone from CWM, right ?
When does it perform the cleaning ? During flashing ? Or after that ?
Do I have a new application in my system called "ROM Cleaner" or what ?

Yes, flash the zip, navigate through the aroma installer and wait until it's done 1 sec for pure ROM Cleaner users.

The app removing is done from recovery with other words.

I do recommend that you have a quick look at the guide in 3rd post.

There's also a video review in 1st post that you can have a look at ;)

Good luck!
