Mounting - Failed

I have the Samy Deluxe with Knox 0x0
I tried to install ROMCleaner with mobile Odin Pro "OTA / Update ZIP". :D the Aroma installer started but he says "sdcard Mounting - Failed"

I don't have a custom recovery and if i restart the phone in Recovery from the power Off menu i can't install it.

Oh I see. It hasn't been tested yet?

Its too early for me to be brave. I only have this GT-I9192 for a few days and it's my first ever smart phone.

But I am an experienced notebook user and all I know is I want to do is get of all the crap I don't want and optimise for a lean mean OS, like I do on in Windows

But i am trying to run before I can crawl! I am still reading about rooting, backing up, bloatware scripts and custom ROMS but not yet understanding everything very well.

No idea.

You better stay away from this since I have dropped the development. There must be better alternatives now days.

Thanks. Yes I am trying to read up a bit on everything but am going around in circles a little as I am having a hard time figuring out which is the latest information or discontinued, superseded or sometimes for example, find the method is not available for this model. Seems CWM is something I need to start with but the installer does support this model so I will have to read up and understand how to do it manually.

I might try the scripts first as I would like to see the stock ROM with bloatware first before I try a custom ROM

@Patrics83, is there a way to disable the full wipe of cache (dalvik or art) that is performed by the tool?
I need this because on dual boot, cleaning the cache will simply remove the 2nd installed ROM.

Sure, open the v2.1 zip (do not extract it.)

Go to "/META-INFO/com/android/" and open "updater-script" with notepad++ (If on windows).

Add a "#" at line 14, 45 and 59.

like this:
Code:
[COLOR="Red"]#[/COLOR]delete_recursive("/data/dalvik-cache");
When done, just close the zip and save changes. Now rename the zip so you can keep them apart. Transfer the zip to your sdcard and flash it like normal. :fingers-crossed:

Worked like a charm.
Why don't you post an update of ROM Cleaner for Lollipop? It's working without problems.
