noob question will this just work on evo 4g lte or will it work on any device? still kinda new :D
This will work on several devices but you'd have to use a custom txt script to ensure that you aren't deleting apks that are necessary to function and also get rid of those that aren't in the current list to remove. I used to use a variant of this for my evo 3d but again I edited the txt file so that I didn't lose any functionality. I'm not sure which are and aren't other than the one x and evo 4g lte, the OP will have to give you the current devices that are supported.

Sounds like you used a custom txt file. I've tested the default sense & no sense in addition to custom for sense and no sense and that hasn't been an issue. You might have removed something you shouldn't have

We can make ROM Cleaner for almost all devices but the aroma script needs to be changed, calibration of the screen and in some cases even paths to the sdcard.

Not sure, but did you flash any mods? This shouldn't happen. Maybe someone here with a EVO can help you ;)

Can you please run a log collection from the aroma and upload the file here.

Some mods will not work in some cases... so I suggest you use the mod.zip and flash it separately in recovery.

Want to make sure imdoingthis right.

1. Boot to recovery and make a nand
2. Run RC and only use backup
3. Superwipe/ wipe cache/dalvik/factory/system
4. Flash MeanROM
5. Run RC Sense
6. Reboot
7. Place mods in 2nd boot folder
8. Reboot Recovery
9. Run RC-ALT scripts/restore apps/settings/etc
10. Run RC-ALT scripts/install mods

Is that about right?
All fine, question is did it work at second boot?
And what kind of mods did you try to install? A log collection file will tell us that and see if you did anything else.

Please use the thread for support questions like this, no one will make fun of you in case of total failure :)

you can also dirty flash update over previous rom and then run RC

steps
1. dirty flash
2. RC backup apps
3. run RC sense
4. boot back to twrp
5. reflash mods

I've tested this also :)

Sorry, I got the notification bar back after a convoluted install process. But, I haven't tried running ROM Cleaner again.

Going to download mikeyxda's 3.0 update later and give it another try. I'll report back afterwards.
