If you want to update the old script, just flash the new one(v2) to replace the old script. Just like before, to remove the script, undo.zip on first page should work just fine.

(CM7 testers needed. To test just download the new v2.zip along with the undo.zip(just in case) then add the sd patch(place on scriptz folder) script from franco's thread. Flash the v2.zip and check by "cat /sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb" on terminal. should reply with 4096.

@ungaze: I'm using Andy's GB ROM and your first script, just got the reply and the result is 4096.
So, i guess it's working.

Glad to hear, as NervGaz has stated:

The issue can occur on rom's that mount the sdcard on /mnt/sdcard and symlink that to /sdcard as your mountpoint doesn't exist. Potentially you can see issues with this if it mounts before vold runs as well as vold with throw an error if the mountpoint is in use. This can occur on rom's that mount to /sdcard. Hope that clears it up a bit.

I was also worried before that, with long scripts/tweaks, vold might catch up with init.d and catch the mount point still in use and therefore throw an error. Maybe you just got lucky with just one script.

Well I suggest you still download the new script as well(and place it where it's easily flashable) just in case.

Alright ungaze! I came from the past tweaks! So if I'm not wrong,I just need to flash the undo.zip and then download the tweaks and put them in a scriptz folder to replace the old ones and reboot?

No need to undo.zip, just flash the V2 zip and all is good. For the tweaks/scripts(on the "scriptz" folder[this is getting kind of confusing lol]) just visit franco's thread for updates.

Q. Is there an app for android to convert amend to edify?

I do not have access to my PC for a couple days, and I wanted to try and get this to work with Clockwork recovery.

I really do not want to edit these manually on my phone, so an android app to convert would be fantastic.

Otherwise, I'll just wait till I get back... play ample Portal 2... then get to work on this.

EDIT: Anybody have the time to try using the amend to edify tool on SD tweaks 2? I will give you +2 internets for it!

I have already answered to Ungaze by PM but I will also do it here for everybody that needs it.
I am using Amend to Edify tool and have modified the phoneDatabase.xml by adding a profile entry for dynamic mount type loading (file attached). Just replace the original file.
That should be it! It is that easy !
