Security option in dwvice care

I am doubtful about activating device security in device care, I recall that back with my note7, once activated, there was no way back, just only via factory reset, What I would like to know is, is it really useful and good? will it consume much resources? Does it impact performance?

Not useful. If enabled by mistake it can be deactivated, clearing data from a related apk, without factory reset but regardless

I've never liked mcafee, too intrusive. It has piggybacked once into my desktop w/ adobe update and I had to manually remove tonnes of mcafee related chunks out of my Windows 10.
