I'm in the process of filing a class action lawsuit in the state of Texas again Ouya for false sales tactics and delay of product delivery to early backers even after product being sold in retail stores. If you want to help, PM me. Let's send them a message, power in numbers friends.
another waste of time, but another way to make money without working.

That's a brilliant idea *sarcasm*. We finally get an affordable price of hardware that is very developer friendly and you want to get a class action lawsuit that will potentially hinder further advancement of the product. Quit your whining just because you didn't get your console 2 effin days early. Had you gotten you console early you would sue because it wasn't ready to release yet.

Look I went about that the wrong way and I apologize. I think there are better ways to get it unlocked than to file a lawsuit. Seriously 75% of the lawsuits in this country are frivilous . file a complaint with the BBB etc.

Mediation is great in the short term. But it could also hurt their image publicly, especially with people or groups that are on the fence. It will turn into a public shaming and we could lose future development. Stop soap boxing and crying about this is or that, and please for the sake of everyone that is hoping to dev for this nice piece of hardware, stop trying to threaten a frivolous lawsuit.

I commend that you are a person of action, but seriously what legal backing do you have? And what lawyer would take this seriously?

But honestly if you have the patience and resources to do this, it's your prerogative, I just doubt you'll get the support needed from here to be able to follow through.

I want to ask though, if you are so upset to a point you want to litigate, why would you call this device a "sleeping giant" just 6 days ago? Just curious is all.

OP is just showing exactly why most other countries laugh at American lawsuits. I'm American and truly believe that people are STILL sue happy. It's not as bad as it was a few years ago, but still way too much.

Unhappy with your $99 purchase? Contact Kickstarter, they're the ones you should go through if you have problems. While I'm not 100% sure, i'm pretty sure if a person/company does not deliver on their promise, you can get your money back.

Or waste your time, whatever.

I really don't mean to be mean, but honestly I'm tired of hearing people complain. Get your money back if you're not satisfied. It's only $100!!! The stats are in and the majority of OUYA owners ARE happy, and those that are not mostly have moved on. And if you say "it's not the money", you're only hurting the future of ALL Android Consoles by suing OUYA. Possibly hurting even non-android Indie type businesses that will look at what OUYA went through and just say "forget it, I don't even want to try"

I'd rather ouya use their resources on addressing user concerns rather than lining lawyers' pockets.

Aside from which the console is open enough to defend against frivolity.

How long do you think it will be before their business model changes. Do you think their indie attitude will last with the likes of Sega as publishers on this platform. Give it time you will see a repeat in history. I'm but a fart cloud compared to the storm brewing in the distant horizon. Accountability, integrity, and forthright are things that an indie company should stand behind since the public believe and funded them. You guys who talk crap, have the balls to take a stand instead of being the stood on. Go look at all the backers who still don't have their systems they paid for months before we got ours. Go tell them they are whining and its only a hundred bucks. Its so easy until your in their shoes. We need a recovery and need it now, we want custom Roms and that is what is holding back the devs, they don't want to be liable for brick systems until they have a better means of recovery.
They are a brand new indie startup, what seams like a mistake now can be learned from if that is fact what this is. Good luck trying to damage what otherwise looks like a great idea by messing with their "sleeping giant"
