Seems like AT&T omitted the free 50gb Dropbox again...

I got the 50gb about a month ago when I sign up on their web site. Had to install it on my s4, pc and one other thing I can't remember. Might be worth a shot if you haven't got an account already

When you signed up on who's website? Samsung or dropbox? I don't even see this offer anywhere but would love to get it.

Anyone know if the T Mobile phones have the 50 GB free? Might be another reason to get that one over the ATT version.

When I was playing with mine out of the box and clicked on drop box it had the 50GB offer. This was a Tmobile Note 3. I signed in with my existing account (already have 73GB from a previous 50 bonus from the SIII offer plus some promos hehe) and it did NOT give me 50 more. I suppose if I signed up with a new account it would have given me the 50 after meeting their requirements. Oh well...

I suppose if I really wanted it I could ODIN back to stock and try it again but I'm not doing that.

You cannot redeem the 50gb offer more than once on a single Dropbox account. You have to make another account to redeem that 50gb space. It doesn't stack. I've done it with demo units in stores where now I have multiple Dropbox accounts with the 50gb promo. :p

Yes, the T-Mobile and Sprint versions definitely have the 50gb DropBox promotion. I am not sure about Verizon though.

Hmmm never thought of that. Create a gmail account and walk into store and link it to new 50GB drop box!

Link camera to demo phone and see what people are taking pictures and video of as well. ;)

You all know that this is a PROMO only and after two years, after you've accumulated ALL of your DATA into the account you have to PAY for it, otherwise, it gets deleted??!? If it was LIFETIME free, YEAH that's worth talking about, but c'mon, two years just so they can get you used to the idea, start save bits of data here and there...Blink of an eye, and I can imagine Willem Dafoe *BAMF* pop in the chair across from you with a sharp black suit and long creepy fingernails, dangling a PEN and asking you. "All of this could be yours, just sign on the dotted line"...

"got you by the balls..."

Sorry but no thanks...!

Completely agree, pointless to complain about a TEMPORARY offer.... if you truly want cloud storage then look for a solution that is permanent. There are quite a few choices for minimal cost available with most offering at least 10GB free.... how many of you are actually using 50GB of storage... very few I'd imagine.

24 months and 50GB. Mine is up to 73 due to other promotions and such. Not a bad deal for free. It's $9.95/month for 100GB.
It's a convenience more than anything else. I have several phones linked to this and it's nice to be able to take pictures or see pictures from another phone, etc. I have about 6GB on mine which is next to nothing.

If I decide when it's up that I don't want it and need anything I'll download it and that will be that.

No big deal but for the meantime I'll gladly use the space for free, for now.

Dropbox is currently the most convenient way to share files or backup my school or work documents. I have the 50GB promo from the S3, but who knows if they're going to do something else in the future. I have 60.35GB of space from camera uploads, referrals, quests, and the promo. If they take away the promo, my files aren't automatically gone, they're synced on every computer in which I have Dropbox installed. I use it a lot on my phone, so I keep the file sizes relatively small for when I'm not on WiFi. I've used less than 1GB of space and I have thousands of pictures and documents backed up. I'm not using Dropbox to backup my entire computer, movie library, or games, so it doesn't really matter if and when they take away the promo. I only trust traditional media sources for important backups. How can anybody complain about a free service in the first place? SMH, we know what we got into when we agreed to the promotion, but I'm not going to cry when it's taken away because it was nice to have the offer while it lasted.
