I'm mainly concerned if covering all the holes affects 3g/4g/wifi performance. I know they have the rear mic uncovered.

Awesome! Thanks dude. I wanna get the holster but I'm concerned with the way the power button is on this phone that it might damge it over time. I wanna see how well the case works with covering up the mysterious holes as well. I had the surface combo for my Nexus One and it rocked!

I got the Gelli case from Case Mate and love it. I was worried about it feeling cheap but it's not at all - it's very firm and streamlined and looks nice without adding bulk. It also covers the volume rocker and power buttons which is good cause the crooked power button was really annoying me; it makes it feel more solid.

Does it feel like the Case-Mate Gelli would protect it from impact/drop?

On the fence on either the Active or the Surface. Will not be using the combo. Prefer to keep in front pants pocket. I have Otterbox for my other phones and like the commutor series. However this one is much cheaper with coupon.

I just purchased the Seidio Active combo with the holster. It looks great but has one major default. The clip area that makes contact when you snap the phone in the holster is just silicone. Not plastic like the outer shell. Its a huge pain because everytime you put the phone away you need two hands. One to hold the clip open and one to hold the phone. Otherwise the silicone just bunches up and the phone wont snap in. All they had to do was put one of those plastic fingers that are all around the case on the top and that would of held the silicone still. Im still debating if I want to mod the case or just return it.

Regardless of what I have my cell clothed in, the moment the Trident Aegis is released, I order. I've had the Aegis on my Vibrant, MT4G and my current Seidio Active Combo for the Sensation is going straight to eBay when the Aegis is released.

yes. I bought the tough case and it works great with the seidio active holster. it is much better than the seidio case in strength and protection.
