• If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data in recovery
• Make sure you're using the latest CWM, TWRP or COT recovery
• Flash ROM
• Flash Google Apps (GAPPS)
• Reboot

Semi-official meaning we've been given the go-ahead by the AOKP team to build and distribute them. They're not official since the AOKP team doesn't build these nightlies, but they're not unofficial since the AOKP team has given the go-ahead. Unless of course "genuine simulated nightlies" suits them better

tl;dr
All of the nightlies produced by us contain nothing but the code that is in the AOKP source repos, but are not built directly by AOKP.

If the sabermod toolchain is used by official AOKP builds then it is used here. These nightly builds do not contain anything that is not part of the official AOKP codebase.

Our automated build server pulls from official AOKP sources daily and builds them as-is.
