Do you know of a good post/forum that explains the process of theming the note 4, as of right now i can only exrtact the apk and view the images then replace them, but some images that i want to replace i cannot find that image, or i dont know where to look for it at so that i can replace it.
There is a great forum here for the note 3. A lot of it transfers. You cannot find the images because they don't use pngs anymore. You have to convert them and replace the qmg/aste files with the png you want.

Samsung has leaned HEAVILY on .qmg image files on the Note 4, making it a lot more difficult to theme the phone. But the image files is not the main components of theming, xml files is. So unless you have some experience in editing xml's then you will need to either learn this stuff or else let other experienced themers do it and thank them for their time and efforts. It takes a lot of time and trial and error getting things matching correctly and looking nice and fluid. What I'm trying to say is that unless you really want to learn and take the time to read up on how to do it in xml's, then don't bother, it's not something that you will learn in 5 minutes and theme your phone. Not gonna happen. LOL.

Theming will be the last thing I do to my custom rom once I get the more important features done. simply because it will take me longer deciding how I want things to look.

I didn't mean it that way at all. I was basically referring to the persons inquiring about theming themselves. I like what you did it's really cool. .Ofcourse you can never please everybody and there's always something people want you to change. doesn't mean it's not nice work it's just that everybody has different tastes. What rom are you currently running?

Oh sorry, I misunderstood. I am just running stock deodexed Banzai rom. It is true you can't make everyone happy, everyone wants something different.. I agree with you, if you want to learn to theme, you need to find a good thread and learn all of the aspects of theming. There are some good ones here and the people running them are very helpful.

I would really like to recruit a good themer to do my rom. I really don't have time right now with the other things I'm doing. there's missing/disabled air gestures, and a couple other things i'm working on right now. I'm also adding the option to change views in settings so we can choose between list, tab and grid views. Once I get these things done I will do a few things to theme it.

I agree which brings me to my question... after looking at many threads and youtube videos becoming familiar with apktool and changing qmg's out with png's, how did you create this flashable zip, I am running the echoe hybrid rom and would like to create a flashable zip for it, i recently just changed some images in systemui, but I plan on doing more, I want to get a base down before I get to much work done and find out I was doing something wrong this whole time. can you point me to a good link/video or possible tell me how you created your flashable theme zip file.

Not really. I haven't really looked in a while. You can use mine. Just unzip it, remove my apks and put in yours and zip it back. Always do a backup.

Sorry last question, do i need to replace your META-INf files to, i extracted your zip with 7zip then removed your stuff, added the meta-inf folder from the rom i use then put in the apps i modded in the folders like you had them. I zipped up the folder, and it wasnt able to install when i was in recovery, am i compressing it correctly, taking the wrong files out?? Anything, any insight would be helpful, thank you

Don't replace the META-INF folder. Just replace the apk files. Choose normal for the compression.
