I somehow always thinks it's nice to see others homescreens, and maybe get some inspiration from it. So feel free to show off

So you're basically saying that you can make a screenshot if the phone is rooted?! Really makes sense

Yea, don't really need to root it to be able to take a screenshot. There are alot of apk's available for taking screenshots


I'm using MyPhoneExplorer for taking screenshots (doesn't require rooting).

Works great via USB, didn't try over Bluetooth or WiFi (don't need right now).

To connect Android Phone, after install on Your PC, in Options, select "Device with Google Android OS" instead of "Sony Ericsson Phone with modem interface".

To take screenshot, go to "Additional" and select "Upload screenshot". Small window will appear, where You can see what Your phone actually displays, click on "Save as..." and You're done!

This app is powerfull to sync all data with Outlook, send SMS from Your PC, install *.apk applications from Your PC, make backups and stuff...

How did you get that tool bar at the bottom? Are you using a different Launcher than Sense 3.0?

Just use the damn SDK to take a screenshot. Not exactly hard is it...

Therefore here the details:

y0rk's Black ADW theme
Tool bar at the bottom: Main dock with 5 icons

Screen 1: Weather Widgets v14.9 (linked to HTC weather and HTC clock)
Screen 2: PowerControl; Pure Music widget; Pure Calendar widget;
Screen 3. Elixir widgets
Screen 4: Droid stats; Puer messenger widget

MyMobileExplorer (known as well as myPhoneExplorer). not in the market, but free donloads everywhere - replaces HTC Sync.

Definitely better with XP, but no longer required with W7, since the outlook syncronisation problem with XP (contact pictures and items) is now solved.

And in combo with Navigon, it is mandatory to have a good outlook sync, since Navigon uses the outlook addresses.

PS: After 2 wekks, I love my Sensation - incredible fast - Navigon rocks like a charm - best mobile so far (my wife has the IShit4 - all the complaints about the display - forget it - the HTC is at least as briliant as the fruit)

How did you get that tool bar at the bottom? Are you using a different Launcher than Sense 3.0?

I'm guessing he is using Launcher Pro, or maybe ADW Launcher.
