I was doing experiments with my 2 sensations, i had 2 in my pocket and one had ADW launcher and the other didnt.

The one with the ADW launcher rebooted 4 times within the day

The other rebooted none

Factory reset both phones and swapped the Softwares so the one that didnt have ADW now has it and vice versa

ADW phone rebooted 5 times within the next day

The Other rebooted None

CONCLUSION: ADW reboots and bugs your system!

Used ADW Launcher EX since I bought the phone and I haven't had one reboot.

Appreciate that info.

Interested in testing LaucherPro? :)

I'm supposed to get my phone later today, so will be able to do my own tests soon.

Sensation reboot

Ive had reboots with sense, ADW and Launcher Pro Plus. Have uninstalled all apps widgets etc, reset phone, none have made a difference. Im "telling HTC" about three times a week, not sure if they care, bring on unlocked bootloader and Cyanogen.

I also use ADW and never had a reboot. In fact, Sense reloads on me and gives me more trouble than ADW.
Does ADW make the sensation run a lot smoother? I have ALWAYS used adw ex on my phones and always cyanogen mod or some other sense-less rom. but the times I tried adw on my sensation I kept going back to sense 3.0 because it's just so sexy lol and BTW I have always loved the eye candy of sense just hated the lag that came along with it, but honestly my sensation doesnt lag much at all. It's not a speed demon like my g2x was but it runs pretty damn smooth. Sense has only restarted on me a couple of times, nothing major

I have used both sense and adw and had reboots with booth. I think the issue is more complex than just the launcher. I also noticed that the phone freezes for a while before it reboots. Hopefully its not a hardware issue.

Title is extremely misleading, as it doesn't solve the reboot issue at all. Several of us are having reboot issues without ever replacing the launcher. This post doesn't even come close to having solved the reboot issue.......

I haven't put a custom launcher on at all. My home screen reloads at least a couple times a day. I can almost guarantee that Sense will reload every time I side load an app, play a game or surf the web for an extended period of time. It seems like the home screen shuts down while not using it to save RAM and then reloads when you go back to it?

Another idea...

I had an issue with two Sensations I bought and come to find out I do believe it had something to do with the microSD cards I used. They rebooted like once every hour or so but once I reformatted the 16GB SD card I put in them they stopped rebooting. Not saying this is everyone's issue but just putting it out there... I was using a 16GB SD that I took out of my MyTouch 4G. I thought It would be OK to just swap it over... But it wasn't.

reboot is not depended on launcher in my opinion. when I first bought my Sensation it rebooted on third day of use for 4 times. I asked about it in the shop where I bought and they said that the problem was in CPU & it was defect and changed it to new one. The Second one has not rebooted yet...
