Sensation takes 6 hours to charge from 1% to 100%

This is crap, what you´re doing!
If you charge the battery, the phone doesn´t know how much capacity it got. (Could be an old battery or a bigger/smaller non-stock battery) So the device will recorgnice how fast the battery adopt the power and estimate when it slows down on a specific value when to stop and show 100%.

If you will restart the device during the loading sequence, it makes a battery calibration and thinks your on 100%. But of course it is still on 60%.

I/m using anker battery and i'm not charging it with the phone .. i use the wall charger that comes with the anker and it usually takes 6 hours to full charge from 5%..(i'm not draining my battery completely).

Alternatively , you can turn off your phone and let him charge. On my sensation charge time was of 34 minutes from empty

If the phone it`s turned off com.android.....etc etc ...all apps aren`t working ...so you understand what i`m saying.

You can use battery monitor widget from the play store to see your charging rates. Connected to the wall, it should fast charge (greater than 500ma) until 90%, then charge at 100ma from 90% to 100%.

Mine is about 6 hours.. Or longer. I think I fried it a little, when I was using my playbook charger for quick charges (5 amp), alternately I use my galaxy tab charger (2 amp), or the stock HTC charger (1 amp)

With that app, my charging is at 534ma at max. I charge it with the stock charger and cable, is it normal?

i had the same problem my battery took 5.5hours to charge , changing battery is what fixed for me i bought original HTC BATTERY 1730mah form htc and the problem gone now battery charging in 2h.30min
