I don't understand why anyone would purchase a 5-600 phone with sense and then spend the rest of time
reducing it to a bland interface, it's a dual core soa device, that flies...buy a nexus1 or hd2 or mytouch 3g if you want purity and stock......sheeesh
N1, HD2, or MT3G don't have the hardware that the Sensation does. Everybody buys devices for different reasons...some for the pretty colors, some for the functionality. And some buy devices with pretty colors and nice hardware to replace the pretty colors with functionality.

I'm pretty optimistic that they'll get it right this time, considering 3.0 is few months old and they're already rushing 3.5
One thing i've noticed about android in general, is that things are not rushed, they always take a long time on things, not even necessarily to do a good job either, they just take their time.

In all honesty i really hope HTC keep up with their winning formula and listen to their customers, have the phones bootloaders unlocked from the off, with security off too.

They won't be rooted so the not knowing will be unable to root anyway, they stand to absolutely rake it in if they did that.

Can't see it though. :)

The Bliss most likely features a WVGA, which means porting to a qHD device might be difficult, the images would look out of place. And this is meant for lower end phones. Sense 3.0 is for the higher end dual cored devices instead. I think this may appear as an update for phones phones using 2nd gen snapdragon like Inspire, Desire HD, Desire S, Incredible 2, etc...The Sensation will remain using the 3.0 version most likely until sense is made for ICS. However the ROM would be quite fast on a dual core phone, since it would be fast on S2[2nd Gen Dragon]. Sense 4.0 could be the next major update for Sense on Android, 3.5 is for the lower-mid phones.

The mytouch isn't vanilla by any means, in fact, it has a mysense overlay on top of sense... So it actually uses more space.

If it gives us another option to use on our daily drivers, I say bring on 3.5. Tough to say how it'll end up looking in the US market too maybe. Maybe I'm just a newb, but I don't find sense 3.0 all that slow or sloppy on our device.

Not to nit pick but you gotta read the post...MyTouch 3G IS vanilla. MyTouch 4G is not.
