I know most of us have moved on to minimalistic layouts, but if you're an old-school XDA member, or a "legacy" smartphone user, you likely recognize the once beautiful HTC Sense (4) interface the moment you see it. Well, after months (or years) of searching for quality HTC Sense (4) style widgets to no avail, I decided to make some myself. Introducing the simple knock-off Sensory Deprivation KWGT widget pack!

The pack was designed for use with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, but of course, through resizing, etc.. it should work well with most screens & resolutions. "Padding" might be a lifesaver depending on what launcher you use.

All widgets are unlocked, customizable, and yours to modify as you see fit. All I ask, with mutual respect, is if you share the work, please link back to this post (in case of the need for technical assistance relative to the widgets themselves).

Included are four KWGT widgets:
  • (4x3) 4 Senses - HTC Sense 4 style Weather Clock
    • Official Helvetica Neue font(s)
    • Official HTC weather icons
    • No flip or weather animations obviously (Many of you are aware as to why, but if not, it's Google's fault :p)
    • Tapping the clock opens the Samsung Clock app, tapping the weather icon force updates the weather, tapping on the city (& conditions) opens the Samsung Weather app
      • Action(s) can be changed via KWGT
  • (4x1) ForeSense - Four-day forecast widget
    • Uses the location relative to your settings in KWGT
    • Tapping the widget takes you to the respective "10-day Forecast" page of TheWeatherChannel for your location
      • Action(s) can be changed via KWGT
  • (4x4) Sensory Widget - HTC Sense 4 style Music Player
    • Supports any music player that KWGT initially supports (I primarily use Samsung Music, so further testing will be needed for quality expectations)
    • Tap the Album Art to open the player (can be set in KWGT)
    • Track Title scrolls as necessary, relative to the character length of the title (Artist does not)
  • (4x4) Senseless Widget - Nearly blank widget designed to match with the rest of the widgets
    • I use it as a background widget with "overlapping" enabled in Nova Launcher Prime (See screenshots below)
    • I planned to make the old "FriendStream" widget, but no... I don't think I will (Not at this time at least)
Any criticism, or praise, is appreciated. I haven't done much custom work since my old Anastasia Jewel Clocks back in the WinMo days, so bear with me. I've been out of the game for quite some time.

If you have any questions or need any assistance, don't hesitate to hit me up.

(I'm a tad unfamiliar with Kuper, so until I wrap my head around that process, all widgets are included individually in the attached ZIP file. Simply Import them into KWGT.)

Enjoy!

    Hi there, @Agent Zach .
I just came across this and, as an old-school XDA user I'm now using it on my PocoF1's home screen.
    Thanks a lot!
    Cheers.
