My phone is a g900v rooted with the jrkruse method with locked bootloader on bpb1. My wife has a stock s7. We are both experiencing the same problem. Sometimes when she sends me a picture message, when it leaves her phone it is in color but by the time it reaches my phone it is in black and white. It happens occasionally with single pictures but seems to happen more frequently when she sends multiple pictures in the same text. Or if she is sending a group text with multiple pictures.
At first, I thought it may have been because my phone is rooted but it also happens to her on her s7. If I send a color picture to her, once it reaches her phone it's in black and white.
We have also experienced this phenomenon when someone else sends us a picture. We do not know what types of phones all of our other contacts have but sometimes when they send us pictures they will be in color and sometimes black and white. Anyone else ran into this? Any ideas?
