Hey guys,
Just thought I'd share this experience with you guys in case someone else has had the same issue.
I've got a Nokia Lumia 800 with a faulty Charge/USB flap which keeps falling off when open, and doesn't sit flat when closed. Made a repair request through Nokia's website which all went swimmingly smooth until a week later when the phone was returned to me, untouched. They even had the nerve to attach a flyer about how this is my new "repaired or replaced phone which has been repaired under warranty".
I know what you're going to ask: how do I know they haven't done anything? Well the phone has the same IMEI for start, but the part that was faulty (the charger flap) has a tiny little mark on it, which I have photographic proof of, and the returned phone has the same mark.
So even though I specified in great detail the fault of the phone which I included in the package to Nokia, they have done nothing more than factory reset the phone and sent it on it's way back.
Think on Monday morning somebody's going to get their head bitten off.
