Seriously....batt stat is really bad...

ok...got quick question for you now.....you said that it is not normal to be over 80% for the display part...right?? and I just checked and its 87%......is there any way that I can decrease my display usage?? I tried to manually decreased all the way down for the brightness part and I check for 15 sec to shut my display off.....but still in 87% of display...any thoughts??

p.s.
oh and I was using my phone for 19min and my batt percentage went down to 95......and this is my second cycle to charge and die

No live wallpapers. 15 minutes with screen on and 5% is about normal from a full charge.. But wait till you get a low battery warning and check your stats to see what's using battery

and I was curious about one more thing....my voltage is over 4100....could this be the possibility that cuzing bad batt life??? or is there a way to decrease my volatage??

I believe when mine is hitting 100% and on the charger, the full batt popup goes off at 4242 mili amps

I went to the movies at 2pm with 100% charge, I listened to online radio for 20 minutes on the way there, watched the movie and now its 7:30 and my phone is at 5%... Nothing is running in the background and my phone was in the packet the whole time.

Amazing that I can play angry birds on the iphone for 4 hours during my daughters recital and still have 30% battery left and this stupid samsung pos cant be on standby for 6 hours.

My Samsung can stay on standby for over twenty five hours. You jelly?
In all seriousness... you probably have a defective unit. Get it checked out.

your unit is not defective, your battery may read 10% after 6-7 hours but it will stay there and not completely die, its a problem with the reporting of your battery level by the system and once you wipe batt stats and do the recharge/discharge cycles it will recalibrate

i switched to superclean and was having battery issues until i did this and now there is no problem, it takes a few days and recharge/discharge cycles for it to be right... patience

I used installed juice defender..went form the battery dying early afternoon to dying late night..I bought the paid version(Ultimate Juice) now getting a day and a half with moderate use..

Also, this is after I wiped battery stats, charged, discharged fully 3 times consecutively.. .

ok.....I have a quick question now....I checked with my friend's phone and his phone is not rooted its pure 2.1 eclair version. I saw his phone's batt usage and his display was only 30 some %......mine is usually from 67~86%.....its more than a double....my display setting is lesser than his phone....Im pretty sure that it will increase my batt life much longer if my display is about his....any thoughts??? (is that bc im using rooted version????)

Use some common sense.. does root have anything to do with your screen? its obvious your screen is on more than his... If your power using your phone it is going to die faster. If you just stop touching it the screen will stay off and your issue with screen using battery will end!
