So as promised, I've received my official charging back and pad and have paired it up with my Neo Hybrid. It fits but there is a bulge as expected. Not sure if this is something I can live with (I'll let you know if a couple of days!)

The charger works well, the charging pad is nice and light and does the job well.

The charging back adds a bit of extra weight to the phone. The neo hybrid already adds a lot of weight and bulk, so in conjuction with the wireless back, it makes the phone feel quite heavy, but not uncomfortably heavy. Whilst charging, it does not get hot. I don't know what it does at 100% like the cheap chinese chargers, I'll get back to you on this one soon...

I also bought one of those cheap Chinese wireless adaptors, and it works well with the Sammy charging pad.

Thanks for the pictures! Does the Chinese only adapter work well with the default back or are there connection issues with it? Does it also charge well? I would prefer the Samsung back, but also don't like additional weight. ;)

Hi

It's not as accurate as the Samsung one. You have to position it perfectly.

If Samsung was 10/10 for accuracy, I'd give the Chinese one 7.5/10, seems to charge fine

assuming you are using the original charging cover, so what does it do after it's fully charged at 100%? does it charge again after it drops to 99%? this is one of the problems with 3rd party receivers and charge pads, it would wake the phone up again and charge over the night-which would be really annoying.

Is this the "cheap Chinese wireless adaptor" you bought?

If so, how does it fit in well with the standard back cover and closes completely?

went to 100% no issues, didnt behave any different to a plug in charger. so the issue looks to be with the non original pads/receivers

Looks good. How bad is the bulge using the samsung qi backplate with the neo hybrid? also how bad is the speaker blocked? Thanks!

Do you think you're gonna test the same using the 3rd party receiver with the original charging pad? i'm thinking of going this route, but not sure if that problem would exist. thanks in advance.

I have the official transmitter coming in a few days so will try it with 3rd party RX and see how they get on.

speaker sounds fine, but the bulge is really beginning to irritate me to be honest.....:(
Can you describe the bulge? Is it even or just in an area? I know the charging recievers from china give a slight bulge in the middle but I assume with the s charger it's just a bulge in general?

yeah general equal bulge from the middle, and a sharp tapering off on the edges. makes it a but uncomfortable to hold. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new case now.
Ordered a bumper case to see how that goes

I understand that the OEM wireless cover is not really meant for the Spigen Neo Hybrid so that there will definitely be a bulge. My question is on a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being horrendous, and 10 being a perfect fit similar to the regular back cover), how would you rate the bulge with the OEM wireless cover and the Neo Hybrid? Assuming it is at least a 6, I am definitely looking to do this set up with either my Neo Hybrid or my Slim Armor.

the bulge for me is significant. I'm erring towards a 5/6
